I love this campground. The amenities are great. It is clean and the staff are amazing. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The washrooms are always clean and very spacious. Everyone here is so friendly and like family. The events are great and there is always something fun to do. The lake is beautiful and we live to take our boat out here. The campground is super accommodating and really cares about the people they service. The only downside is that they don't have sewers and grey water needs to be pumped but many pumps are included with your fees. I highly recommend this campground for fun, a great experience and a friendly environment. 😀

As a seasonal resident here I can say this is a great campground. Facilities are clean and well run. Activities to do for everyone. Access to lakes in Huntsville. Close to town if ypu need anything, and a short walk to Hutcheson Beach on Lake Vernon. Great fishing.

The day camping spots are muddy and tight to get into. The dump station is not well designed as the trailer is tilted to the right side so you can’t get everything out of your tanks. Other than that it’s a nice area and nice staff.

Deer Lake was an amazing experience for our family. If you're looking for a getaway that is affordable and comfortable this is the spot. The part is kept immaculate. .the pool kids Park and public facilities are cleaned and sanitized to perfection. The staff here are more than accommodating and friendly. You are close to everything here. My fingers are crossed that they don't change to seasonal only as we will be back next year. .and if possible will go one more time this year. I promise you you won't regret choosing Deer Lake...Have fun.😃

Nice layout, but not a lot of overnight spots. Our overnight spot got flooded and they ended up moving us to an unused seasonal site. Had some fun weekend events. Some very interesting seasonal members!

Went to visit family who are seasonal and we camped for 4 days. The park facilities are super clean. Great swimming and awesome views. Super friendly super pet friendly. Definitely going back..

My husband and I were looking for a place to go for a week, we called Deer Lake Resort, we spoke to a very nice person who said they could definitely get us a spot! We had no idea what Deer Lake was like but we were pleasantly surprised when we saw it!! Our spot was great and the staff were very helpful!! In fact Shane, even though he was busy got us some firewood and helped me get the internet on my phone!! The washrooms were immaculate, as were all the sites!! The staff of Deer Lake resort are very well trained people who act as a team to make your stay the best it can be, in these very trying times! Bravo!!! Deer Lake resort, we will be back!
