There were a few people talking outside the office when we arrived. They waived and greeted us with smiles. Mike told us about the park and then said we could choose a spot. We chose the last site on the river by the field. It was perfect. It was very, very, very quiet and we had a great view in the morning. Our dog loved walking freely in the large grassy area. We saw the gentleman working constantly outside. He is doing a great job. And we didn’t have to pay until we checked out. What company trusts you to do that? We stayed 2 nights. There are great restaurants in town, a Safeway and cool sites to visit. I used the restroom on the way out. It was spotless clean! Thank you for a peaceful stay!

Very nice lady who checked us in. The site had everything we needed for a good night's rest. Close to town and convenient to pick up groceries. The park has a laundry room and is located on a creek.

If you’re camping or motorcycling this is the only place to stay in Deer Lodge. Quiet, Clean , reasonable rates and customer service that is amazing! They have air conditioning and heat in the very clean cabins. Right next to a river where you can sit and watch wildlife by the fire. What really sets this place apart is Mike and his staff. Mike was away himself in Alaska where he was still watching the weather forecasts for Deer Lodge and personally phone and asked if I would be ok in my bike tent trailer or if I needed to move into a cabin. True concern on their part to make your stay great. Stayed an extra day here because it was like family! No other place to camp in this area! When coming back to the area no question Mike and the AOK is more than OK!

Mike at Deer Lodge A Ok Campground is friendly, welcoming, communicative, honest, and hardworking. He remembered our names and those of all staying, and ensured we enjoyed a wonderful stay at the quiet, clean, and quaint spot. Each bathroom has its own sink, shower, and toilet. I think all of them have a bench to set belongings and hooks to hang towels, too! There are 3 coin operated washers and dryers on site, and all machines indicate how much time is remaining, so no need to guess. Though the spaces closest to the river don't have full hook ups, I highly recommend them for the added privacy and gorgeous view. If you park there, be careful of mosquitoes!

We found A-OK on the web. Pulled in and met Mike, the owner, Extremely nice man! He is more than accommodating! It's a very nice homey park. I would definitely stay here again! Mike went out of his way to drive downtown for me, so I didn't have to unhook! Thankyou, Mike. I gave you 5 stars. You deserve it!
