This was a beautiful rv park. It was quiet and peaceful and the pond/lake was so comforting to sit by and watch the ducks swim by. The trees were beautiful and I loved walking on the paths. Also the workers there made it special. I felt safe watching Sam and Brad drive around in the little golf cart. From Nancy who welcomed us with her warm smile and helpful information to Brad and Sam...all the staff I interacted with were kind, courteous and sweet. Staying there was a highlight of our trip. All were very professional down to earth people.

I had a wonderful weekend tent camping here with my wife and two little daughters. The sites were clean and the atmosphere quiet. The bathrooms were very impressive, clean and modern with toilets, sinks and showers. A beautiful huge property with goats, ducks, swings, a giant bounce pad for the kids as well as river cubes, bikes and golf carts available for rent. Last but not least, we did not meet a single staff member (and we chatted with quite a few) who weren't super warm, welcoming and helpful. They gave the impression that they like what they do and were happy we were joining them for the weekend. We will definitely be back.

Solid campground overall. Super clean restrooms and shower - although lock on one toilet stall was broken and needs repair. Wood delivery is fast and it's very high quality hardwood that smokes very little and lasts. Location is excellent especially the riverfront tent sites. Store has a lot of items and gifts. Gated with lock codes and wrist tags makes leaving valuables at your site less stressful. Riverside tent sites have a good amount of space. The one improvement I could offer is the electric and water at some tent sites are right next to the path and quite far from the actual area where your tables and tents would be. We always bring a 100ft extension cord so electric wasn't a problem and we always bring a collapsible dish wash basin and water bucket so that also wasn't a big deal but it would be helpful to indicate on the site list how far the water and electric outlets are so guests can plan what to bring. Overall - we'll very likely be back. While this isn't exactly the cheapest campground - the - you are definitely getting what you pay for in quality and service.

This was our first visit and we are definitely coming back. Sites are spacious we stayed in the Riverside Village. The staff are friendly and helpful. You get the firewood delivered to your site The bathrooms are very nice & clean. They have great amenities, and plenty to do for all ages. The only issue was that our RV site did not have crate for cooking. If would have known we would have brought one...but other than that, this campground is one of the best around.

I had a wonderful experience during my first stay at this campsite. The sites are spacious; I stayed in C07 by the river and found it to have plenty of room. The staff are friendly and very helpful, making the whole experience enjoyable. I appreciated the convenience of having ice and firewood delivered directly to my site. Although I’m not the most experienced camper, I was particularly impressed by the clean bathrooms and showers, which will definitely bring me back in the future. The hookups for campers are excellent, and I noticed that many of the other guests were regulars who were very friendly. If you're considering camping for the first time, I highly recommend making this your first stop!

Great day trip on the Never Sink River. The managers were both very nice and helpful. We found a bald eagle nest, guided by a local homeowner. Overall a nice place, very large with lots of variety for stays. Needs sone updating.

Would not recommend Deerpark/New York City NW KOA - absolutely horrible customer service. Does not answer phone or email, had to contact through corporate KOA to even receive a “canned” response. Unlike 99% of all other KOAs who are fantastic, they do not refund your money if you choose to cancel after booking. We booked two nights (one down, one back) and changed our route for the end of May; tried to contact ASAP to cancel and they refuse to refund as it’s their policy. Warning to all!! Can’t imagine if this is the customer service prior to staying, what it would be like in person.

Nothing but low life's and looters. You will get robbed there like others have said. Stay away I was robbed.

Needs some attention. Several sites the hook ups are at the road. Not convenient.
