I love this place on days when everything else is shut down. Meaning not many people here presently and that’s great ! So I have a nice clear spot all by myself. Easy to get into the park and didn’t need a reservation , got lucky this time with that. I’m a ham radio operator and I loved my time here. Very clean park and the bathrooms are very well taken care of with heat and just a little warm tap water. I love seeing the Inlet Bridge at Night . It’s like a scene out of Miami Vice ! Beautifully Lit up at night in neon blue light . Then if you have the time check out the schools of fish that attend this meeting every incoming tide . Wow ! In fact right now it’s still a little time left to take a walk in the beach . Could be a little breezy but this overcast will change soon. Going to be back here a few times. Think I’ll bring my axe( acoustic guitar) for one of the Parks Community Campfire. In fact maybe me and a few friends will show up with all our instruments. I had a great time here so far and gonna stay another night. As a ham operator for my time here at this Park, I made several contacts over the Airwaves from Ohio to Suriname in Africa. Gotta get outta here and finish up my fun memories to carry me through.

We absolutely loved our time at the Delaware seashore State Park! Although the sites were a bit tight, the 5 min walk to the beach made up for that!. We loved that our car pass got us into every other state park in Delaware that we went to! The campground was also close to any other beaches that we could access easily. We stayed in the south campground. But went over to the north of the restaurant. They have live music that’s plays every night and the food was delicious.!

This is our first time camping at this State Park. We are at North side. We were very impressed. The views were amazing, the beautiful bridge lights up at night, it blew me away. Beach was awesome even though it went through very rough sea conditions from the hurricane. The RV spots are wide and nice. It has restrooms, showers and laundry facilities. Playground, fishing areas. Just under 10 minutes walking, you will find a marina with full bait and tackle shop. And just next to it, an excellent restaurant name DockSide Marina Bar &Grill. The food was delicious, service was excellent as mentioned. Totally recommend this restaurant and the State Park.

Wonderful place to stay easy to pull into your spot and get parked with a trailer camper. Nice size lot just enough for your rug and picnic table that is oversized. The campground was clean and picked up after. The ability to walk to the beach was nice. A short walk through the campground and by the wetlands area to under the bridge and through the parking lot; then up over the dune. You also had the option to do a short drive over to the beach which was convenient as well. The park shop also had a nice selection of items for sale such as shirts or magnets, sand toys, plush animals; they also had some ice creams, milk, misc. food items if you needed something. It was a quiet campground with nice and easy hookups. If it did rain your ground mats were gonna be floating as some of the water gathered and laid for a bit. It also dumped the evenings we were there so the rain came down hard and fast. By the morning most of the puddles that could subside did. The red wing black birds were plentiful and neat to see. Also beware the mosquitos as the sun sets, they were no joke. Certainly will want some protection for those or be in before it gets early evening. The dock walkway for fishing was easy to access and many people could be there at a time. We saw a few catch some but it certainly took some time and effort. But that’s fishing for ya. Overall we look forward to visiting again!

The place is beautiful, we stayed one night on our way home.... lots of space to fish...even if we caught nothing. The bridge is breathtaking especially at night! The beaches are clean and we had the whole thing to ourselves the day we were there. Just do not expect quite time at 10... or 11 or 12.... or at all. Which sucked as we had to head out early for home.
