Delight's Hot Springs Resort

Just doesn’t hit like it used to here at the resort. While I did enjoy the cabin renovations, I couldn’t help but notice many things that just simply do not compare to the charm and splendor of what used to be known as Delight’s Hot Springs. First, and foremost and what I feel is the most important thing is the feel of the water. What used to feel calm, and relaxing, now leaves your skin so dry, and itchy, and the waters have a chlorine smell to it now as well, when they never used to. The care and attention to the private spas where they used to be drained nightly along with scrubbed and cleaned seems long forgotten. I had a certain kind of feeling when I started noticing the tons of white tiny mystery floaters in the private tubs as well as the outdoor pool and spas. There was algae in the pool and private tubs as well. I miss the old guy who used to run the check-ins, and gift shop with local soaps, robes, liquid IV’s and other goodies. Now it’s just a bunch of charcoal which just seemed stark. The lady who checked us in seemed nice enough, but the dogs at the main house where she lived were barking more than the dogs that were with guests at the “resort.” I have stayed here over a dozen times before and a big upside was the opportunity to get to unplug and enjoy peoples’ company. They have brought the big bad wolf of WiFi to the property which some may love or dislike, but to me I could definitely do without seeing people stuck to their phones around the pool and even inside the outdoor spas on YOUTUBE, instead of actually enjoying the beauty of the nature around them. Why do I have to listen to your videos while I am trying to enjoy peace and serenity? I’m just sincerely bummed out about my past visit. I hope they can return the hot springs waters to what they used to be and get rid of all the harmful chemicals I was trying to avoid in regular pools by taking the 2 hour drive to Tecopa. The time, attention and interest the old workers used to give into the property has been lost and forgotten. I hope they can find it back again along with the water quality.

We found paradise. Great pools, fresh cabins and a super friendly owner that has fixed the place up. We’ll come back

Although we arrived quite late, 9:45pm, the checking in attendant treated me like I had the plague. We stayed in #107 which is a nicely renovated 1960's mobile home, but they failed to turn on the AC before we got there so it was 88° when we got there and it took over an hour for it to cool off to sleep. In the morning my wife went to take a shower she turned on the hot water only to find out it smelled like rotten eggs, hence not a fun shower. And for $400 for the night it was not worth the money

My party wanted to get away from the noise of Vegas so we rented a car to drive out to the hot springs. We stayed in Villa 107 and had everything we needed to enjoy the springs, the pool, and the hot tubs under the full moon. After checking out with the lovely office, we drove out to the Shoshone museum and had iced coffeee and cheese burgers at the Crowbar cafe. We plan on visiting again as soon as possible. Great use of time and money

Anyone can access private room for 30 min. You can re-enter for another 30 min. Private room has its own cold shower. IMO I’d be cooked in the private room I was in there for 10 mins haha. It’s too hot for me. Very nice, clean and beautiful private room. Outdoor pool was warm. Plenty of space and small pools connected to the main pool. Restroom was ok with toilet and shower. I remember 1 shower and multiple toilet. Some toilet were broken. We just needed a quick wash before camping, so it was acceptable.

The highest tranquility. But with comfort. We stayed in the Airstream, it was our first ever experience in a camper. Ideally clean and comfortable. Having an evening bath in a hotsspring was a very pleasant extra. Most likely, you will be there because of the Death Valley visit - and you cannot be close unless you stay in the valley itself. The road going left of Shoshone (Jubelee Pass) is much more spectacular than the ""main" way via the Death Valley Junction. But even if Death Valley was not there, this place was worth visit. We should have stayed at least a few nights. Waking up in a place like this, these sunset and sunrise - all special.

You cannot beat the location-10 miles from a Death Valley national park entrance. The setting is relaxing. The rooms simple and up to date. AND THE HOT TUBS! A beautiful pool surrounded by 4 hot tubs plus 4 other private hot spring rooms of varying big sizes. The water was so clean and relaxing and HOT. Finally everyone you meet is kind and the management is gracious and on the ball. GO!

I stayed here for two weeks in my motorhome. It was great. The pools are wonderful. I hope to return in the winter for a longer stay. The rv spots are first come, first served. There is a good selection of full hookup spots very near the pool.

A delightful end to a desert adventure in death valley park! It felt super luxurious to soak after being so desert dry. The private pools are an amazing and unique experience. One didn't have a roof, making it perfect for star gazing! We stayed one night mid-week and had plenty of options for the pools available. I didn't see any food onsite, but Shoshone and Tecopa both have a restaurant each that do the trick. The bungalow doesn't have its own shower, but each of the private pools does. Our bungalow had a queen bed, not a king.

This was my very first time to experience Hot Springs. As a Massage Therapist, I wanted to experience the healing powers of Hot Springs. One of my dear friends had invited me to go with her. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. It was brought to my attention. It’s under new management. Unfortunately they’re not tracking the amount of people they have in the hot spring area. They did not have enough recliners or chair for anybody to enjoy around the pool area! If you’re going to be charging customers to enjoy the experience, there should be sufficient seating for everyone. Then within a half hour of getting there a huge group came in and we’re oblivious that other people were there. Shame on the staff for not telling them to keep it down. They were completely out of control and I’m talking adults. My friend had to go use the restroom. It wasn’t even working. It does not look like it’s being kept up at all to drive all that way and have a bad experience was pretty sad. I do not recommend this location. I went there for some serenity and healing and instead I left annoyed. I will never be returning here again! And if I left out, I smelled some chlorine in the water, so is it truly a hot spring I question it!

We have been going to this spot for over 5 years. It used to be such a beautiful experience. The outdoor pool was spotless friendly. Warm constantly taking care of this time. Molding, the pool staff was non-existent. Pools were closed from 10 o'clock at night till 6 in the morning indoor pools. Which most people take advantage of in the middle of the night? Cannot be in the elements at the big pool. That are you displeased with the new management/owners? Whatever's happening. They have a big need to hire back. The old staff place was ran very well before very unacceptable this time. I do not recommend you go there. If you're expecting the class and luxury o As before, it doesn't exist.
