We did not stay in a room/cabin. We stayed on camping lots 6, 7, and 8.

I deliver to this location. The staff is cool and the bathrooms are clean! Cool place for a boater I suppose.

Came in from out of state to visit family, and stayed in a cabin while my family stayed in campers. Check in was easy, the people in the office were very friendly. The cabin was more than I had expected- it was clean, more spacious than expected, stocked with a few essentials (which i wasn't expecting) and had nice, hot water for the shower. I grew up camping here and am so glad most of the campground has stayed pretty much the same- but now even better, because of this easy, lovely option. Bring your own linen but there is a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven.

Nowhere to dump tanks for your camper. Camp office closes early, so you won't be able to check in until the next day. Work was being done, the office was closed the second day. The showers have momentary valves so you only get water if you hold the valve on, so you can't do your hair or your back. We left the second day of a 5 day for somewhere more camper friendly and ate the cost.

Paradise for puppies and their people! Absolutely gorgeous location with very helpful and accommodating staff; Tammy was especially delightful. We came as transient boaters, docking for two nights. Our bilge pump stopped working and the staff had the correct model in stock and brought it to us immediately. We have been sailing on the Chesapeake for 15 years, and this sort of service is very rare. We walked through the campground which is beautiful. Location is quiet and private with lots of places to walk our dog and a shady, grassy fenced dog area that was large enough for us to throw her ball. Mya gives Dennis Point 5 paws! All in all, perfect respite!
