Our new favorite RV park in Canada! Our second visit, and the park continues to be super clean, quiet, spotless restrooms, and in a very handy location for wine touring. In addition, Deb (park manager) is an absolute angel! We were stranded there for 5 days with an RV breakdown. Deb assisted us in so many ways- helped us find local repair contacts, found ways to keep us in the site we occupied, and cheered us up when we were stressed! She also helped us find other accomodations when our lights and A/C was totally out. Don't know what we would have done without her! Be sure to stay there if you can, and say "Hi" to Deb!

Convenient location, quiet, and the washrooms were immaculate! Friendly, helpful owners. Shortly before our arrival, there was a boil water advisory announced for the entire town of Oliver. Signs were posted in the resort, but the owner also stopped by to make sure we knew about it.

Desert Gem RV park is very conveniently located on the edge of town. It is easy walking distance to stores like Canadian tire, Tim Hortons, and Buy low foods. The park is professionally managed and the staff are friendly and accommodating. After spending the last 6 months on the road travelling from coast to coast in Canada we would say that washrooms and laundry room at Desert Gem are second to none in Canada with respect to cleanliness. The park roads and pads are paved and the grass and plants are well cared for. Overall our 2 month stay was an excellent experience.

Nicest people when I showed up without a reservation after hours with a 45' fithwheel. They found me a spot that I needed just for the night. Would recommend just based on that. Facilities where nice and clean which makes things nice.
