Nice quiet spot. We were there at the end of the season, but there were still a few seasonals around. 30amp site did not have any 15amp service, so you’ll need a converter. Lake looked nice, and facilities were all clean. Nice powerful (and hot) shower.

We had an amazing time at Desert Lake Family Resort! From the start, the staff were super friendly and helpful—especially over the phone when I was having trouble booking online. They were also really flexible when our family decided to extend our stay by an extra night, and they made sure everything was ready for us. We brought our cat along, and we really appreciated that the resort is pet-friendly—it made the trip feel even more like a family getaway! We rented paddle boards during our stay, and the rental fees were very fair. The owner was kind and accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. The lake is beautiful, and the community around the resort is incredibly warm and welcoming. Another bonus: there’s a great supermarket just a 15-minute drive away—perfect for grabbing food, drinks, or anything you need to restock during your stay. All in all, it was a fantastic trip, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year!

We stayed in Lazy acres Cabin 9 and we had the absolute best time. Everyone is super friendly ( Shout out to Donna, Yao, Jenny, Lucky and Jake for all their hard work and help during our stay). The grounds are kept neat. We relaxed so much and can't stop talking about what an excellent vacation we had. Can't wait to book again! Update: We came back a year later ( cabin 9) and once again had an exceptional time! Beds super comfortable, air conditioner kept us cool in the super hot weather. Everything was super clean and organized. We have zero complaints! Special thank you once again to Donna and everyone who keeps this place running and working seamlessly! Don't forget to stop in the store for a tasty ice cream treat!

Camping. The garbage bins were overfilled and the temps over 29 for the weekend which was forecasted left a horrible stench that was very evident for the duration of our stay. Other then the stink it was an enjoyable weekend. Spent as little time as possible at the camper.

Car camping on one of their camp sites was wonderful. 1000% family friendly and activies for the kids( not just for the kids ) Sunday Tie dying was a blast. And 2 of the RV campers had kittie cats. Over all Experience wonderful.

Close up weekend isn't for another 2 weeks, but health dictated we leave early this year. 11 years in the most serene and beautiful part of Ontario in a well managed campground have flown by. Maintenance is diligent and both owners and staff are lovely people.

It has been a number of years since I have stayed at this campground it was in immaculate shape the last time I was here, not so much this time everything seems to be due for major upgrades/repair. The one play structure was almost unsafe for the kids to use I had to push metal pieces back into place myself that we’re a hazard. I had a staff member be extremely rude to me over a grey water drip. Defiantly not on our repeat list for next year there are many much better campgrounds out there.

This my first season at Desert Lake Resort and I am super happy I was able to get a permanent site here. The owners are very accommodating and there have already been lots of activities for both adults and children with more to come. I'm already looking forward to next season🙂

Hidden Jewel. Hard to find, harder to leave.

So far so good. Lots of seasonal trailers and seems people all know each other and are very nice. Looks like a fun family place and fun times. The new owners are putting lots of work into the place. If you are 110v make sure you have a converter plug. I'm seriously considering coming back but since my setup is simple with a tent, I may go up the hill to the tent only area.
