We had a wonderful experience the pool was beautiful,the codes and gates made us feel safe it was quite when it needed to be and lively at the perfect moments too! The walk to the beach area was short, id suggest maybe zoning off an area for us at the beach the resorts really spread out over the allowed areas.

Awesome place to camp, great beach access. This is truly a RV Resort not a campground. Beautiful place, well kept up and they don't hover over you while you are there. This is our 3rd visit from Tennessee and will continue to revisit the resort from here on. Will add the resort is in a great area to shopping food and all kinds of extra activities.

We enjoyed absolutely gorgeous weather during our recent 14 day stay! The campground was well maintained and we especially appreciated that the restrooms and shower facilities were cleaned daily. This was our 5th year to stay at the Destin RV Beach Resort, and honestly, our best visit to date. The pool was a welcome retreat after our daily trips to the beach. Finally, the staff (Ty) was very helpful and accommodating when we had a local company complete our annual camper cleaning. We are looking forward to returning next year!

My family enjoyed the Destin RV Park. The walk to the beach was short, we appreciated being able to walk to the beach and dinner at The Surf Hut. It was also close to Alvin's for all of the last-minute beach needs. Our kids, especially our son enjoyed being next to the pool. We will definitely come back!

Great place! Super quiet, clean and gorgeous! Super quick walk to the beach. The perfect place! Pricing is super reasonable too! Also, we have a little boy on the spectrum and he loves to run off from us from time to time. We were worried about being on the beach because we wanted to keep him safe and our best tool for that is a pop up beach tent that we were afraid wouldn’t be allowed. We talked to the sweet woman in the office and they were all for it and even let beach staff know the day we arrived about us! It’s such a blessing to come in contact with people and businesses that are more than willing to be so accommodating! Lord willing, will be back again and again! Thank you Destin RV resort!

This place was amazing. We accidentally went to the wrong place with the almost the same name and didn't find out till after we was already set up with our camper. We called the other place and they would not refund our money so the nice lady at this resort gave us the first night free. So we changed our plan to stay there for 3 days. The RV park is a very nice park it's nice and quiet and peaceful and very close to the beach the couple who run it is amazing they helped us a lot we will definitely go back there.

We stayed here from 11/7/21 to 11/22/21. RV Park is small, beautiful landscaping, shady & gated. Management was very friendly and helpful. Not on the beach, but has beach access. Close to food and shopping. Will definitely stay here in the future.

I never received a confirmation email from online booking after 2 weeks. I called and after 2 days they called - spoke with the lady. She emailed it to me, I got nothing. So I called back, she confirmed reservation verbally, confirming emailed address, still no email. She also asked for my final payment being it was 2 weeks out. I gladly paid. Still no email. I had online confirmation screen shot…. Arrive at camp today. Lady told me since I wasn’t getting emails my spot would be 33 when we spoke. Pulled in today that spot was taken. No biggie, they moved me. Let me get my packet. No packet. Older man saying he is owner comes up. I explained, he asked for my online screen shot .I asked before we go proving this do u have a spot for me. I did provide confirmation that was the screen shot. Told him about conversations with the lady. He said “ your on a waiting list” I can only accommodate you tomorrow! I said refund my money for this trip & I have reservations for February I will need it back or I will report you to my credit card. Called him many choice words. Walked out. They messed the family behind us checking in also. Had them on different sites every day when they were supposedly on one site their stay. The old man said he was going to accommodate me, then said no. I called him choice words again. We left … Left lucky us another campground with their stuff together accommodated us. Listen this campground is local owned and people make mistakes but this was horrible to deal with. Choose elsewhere **it’s tight dual wheel vehicle in road parked sideways** and honestly pictures vs in person of the place are ~2 totally different impressions~.

Very nice campground. Friendly and helpful owners. Sites are level, private and well maintained. Other reviews talk about the amenities. Be aware that it’s a tight campground for very large rigs. Also, site 20 can be very difficult to get in and out of with a travel trailer unless two of the sites across the road are empty. Also, enter on Mirimar Drive. GPS want to take you down Geronimo which is where the exit is. A little planning makes all the difference. Overall it was a great week. Enjoy.

Fantastic place given what it has to offer. A bare bones but very well maintained and private little resort right on the main strip. RV resort is not located directly on the beach but has private access just across the street. Beautiful little pool, laundry facilities and bath house. Insider tip: site 8 is THE BEST location; right next to the pool and laundry facilities and ample space for maneuvering with a straight shot out. You won't regret your time at this quiet retreat.
