Happy Wife, Happy Life

Great place that backs right up to the bay! You can walk down 10 steps and put your feet into the water. This was a great spot because it gave you access to the hotel across the road from it. We went over there and spent the day on the beach and bought the chairs and umbrellas for $40.00. The drinks were flowing, and you had service right at your chair!

Amazing place!! Nice clean and close to everything!! When we got there I was surprised to find out we had full access to the resort across the street which has an amazing pool. I also heard they are doing some add ons that will make it much better!! Can't wait till my next stay!

We just spent a month at Destin West. This is an awesome RV park with great access to Destin’s best restaurants and also to Fort Walton Beach and Mary Esther. We appreciated the trash pickup at the RV as well as the well-maintained grounds and sites. The camp hosts were super kind and friendly. While there is no dog park, there is plenty of green space to walk your dogs. We loved sitting in the comfortable chairs on the bay. Access to the beach and the Island Hotel amenities was nice as well. We have already planned our next trip!

We stayed here for 9 nights in June and absolutely loved it. The staff and camp hosts were great. Every day the staff were continuing to keep the grounds clean and neat. The site we stayed in (Site 15) was large and level (as were all of the sites). The pool was warm and clean. There is an area overlooking the bay to sit and have coffee in the morning or just hang out. They have stairs to walk down to the water. An ice cream truck comes through the resort a couple of times a day!! Access to the Island Resort (Across the street) is included (they have pools, bars, and restaurants). Public parking is available beside The Island for beach access. You can rent 2 chairs and umbrella for the day if you want instead of dragging all of your beach stuff along. There is a nice little boardwalk and super restaurants in this parking area too. While we were there, fireworks were displayed every Wednesday night on the boardwalk area. We loved our stay and can't wait to go back!

This was by far the nicest RV park we have stayed at so far! Convenient location to restaurants, beach, pool, play park, ice cream etc. We also loved having access to The Island Resort! The pool was really nice! Having access to laundry facility was awesome too. The bay was beautiful! We will definitely return!

Niiice! Right on the bay. Every afternoon we enjoyed our wine and cheese at the water's edge. Was able to take our Golden retriever for a daily swim. We have stayed at most of the Gulf front RV parks in Destin/Ft. Walton/Navarre and this was the best location. Heck, Rick's seafood restaurant is fun and delicious and it is basically right on the property. We will be back.

We had a great stay at this RV park over the weekend. The park is very well maintained and has very pretty sites. You have ample room between spots and landscaping is beautiful. The person at the front desk was very nice, helpful and had a good sense of humor. They have tables and stools beside the bay which are very nice for having morning coffee. A boat rental service is located right next door which was very convenient. Ricks is also next door. The food there is delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely stay here again.

We are currently staying at Destin West RV resort. Beautiful level sites, some having a view of the bay. Pool also is overlooking the bay. Nice and clean RV resort with very friendly accommodating staff. We dropped in since the state park campground closed due to TS Fred. Peaceful and quiet 99% of the day except when you hear the sound of FREEDOM as the fighter jets practice and occasionally fly by. It was a real treat to watch these jets. We salute you!

We stayed here from Saturday until Thursday. It has nice shade, flat concrete pads, & its right on the bay. The Island Resort across the street is really what made our week. We had access to all the amenities & a true resort experience. Also, we rented a pontoon boat for crab island one of the days & were able to get it right next to us behind Rick's Seafood, so all we had to do is walk over. There's a small pool on site, but nothing much else to do, except go to the bay unless you cross the street. The beach on that side is breathtaking. It was out first RV beach trip & we will definitely do it again.
