Beautiful!!! Everything about this magical setting! The best pictures I got of the Tower were not from my hike, but from camp. Watched Close Encounters with the Tower as a backdrop, watching the sunset and lights of climbers coming down in the dark, all great memories of a lovely stay. Super friendly staff as well!

Absolutely loved this campground! The view of Devils Tower is breathtaking; waking up to that skyline was unforgettable. The facilities are top-notch: restrooms and showers were spotless, and the little store had everything we needed. Best of all, we got to watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind right here, where parts of it were filmed. Such a surreal and awesome experience. Highly recommend!

This is a really nice KOA at the foot of Devils Tower. The sites were long and pretty level. The camp store was really well stocked and the burgers were vey good at the cafe. We really enjoyed the hay ride and although the sun angle was not great for photography we did get some nice sunset pictures. A special early morning photography hayride would be a tremendous add on. On our ride we saw turkey, deer, a bunny and the ranches longhorns and buffalo. After the ride we treated ourselves to some delicious ice cream at the cafe.

We stayed here for a week in August 2025. When we arrived, there were numerous potholes throughout the campground, depositing mud on most of the RVs there. Though, I did see Ogden a few days later going around to repair them. There are also some tight turns in the campground - requiring us to scrape the side of our RV on a tree - despite swinging as wide as possible. These turns need to be widened and trees trimmed to avoid damage to large RVs. We did (barely) fit into the site, as long as our truck was turned sideways. One thing that really irks us is there is a $6 per child fee - which is a ridiculous anti-family policy that needs to be removed. They apparently also have an early arrival fee... The pool was very basic, and not heated, but there is a pool. It looks like there is also a hot tub but it was out of service for some reason. The location of course is great, near Devil's Tower. The free mini golf was fun. The wireless Internet, surprisingly, was decent. In summary, this campground is decent, if overpriced. There is ample opportunity for improvement.

This is a great KOA! I stayed in a cabin while I was there and it was clean and inviting. The grounds were very well taken care of with flowers and even tomato plants in pots by the cabins! The pool was well taken care of and fun to play in on the hot summer days we were there. The showers were also private, clean, and safe which is important! My only cons were that everything was very overpriced. I understand it’s a big tourist attraction but they were price gouging on things like 20$ for a little thing of sunscreen and $12 for a 16lb bag of ice. Overall, we had a great stay and I would definitely stay again.
