We stayed in a motel room for 2 nights. It was super clean and we were very comfortable. The resort is well kept. We were there for Customer Appreciation Day. Food was excellent and I found a new band to follow. Dan Hall and his band were great! We enjoyed touring the new campers from Owensboro RV also. Nice to look around and not be bothered by a sales pitch. All in all it was a very nice weekend :)

We have stayed here for the last 4 camping seasons at least one weekend each. Our teenagers liked the many options at the park. New owners have taken it over. Seems like they are making a few changes and hopefully updating an older “resort”. One change we definitely were not thrilled about is the cost of the go carts. A huge benefit for campers that were already paying a premium to camp was a reasonably priced day or weekend pass for the carts. Rides are now $8 and $10 depending on the track. That gets expensive quick, especially with multiple kids. Perhaps the new owners could look at offering campers a reasonable day pass since they are also paying to stay, eat, shop, etc. $20 was definitely too cheap for the pass before, but $35-$40 would be reasonable for a day of go carting at a campground and seems fair. The weather was crummy the weekend we visited but the day the big drift bikes could have been open they weren’t. Our teens were here specifically for those and were disappointed. Overall it is a unique place and worth visiting. We may give the owners a chance to make some updates and hopefully more reasonable price changes on go carts before returning. Fishing and putt putt are included and a nice addition to the camping stay. We enjoyed the nice trees, lakes, space and size of the park.

We happened to be in town during the flooding and needed to relocate because the campground we were staying at, north of Owensboro, sadly was impacted by the flood water. We were real happy to find a spot here and it ended up being one of our favorites. We travel every year from March to November throughout the midwest and places like this are an unusual gem. We loved having so much space, shade and the area to be able to walk. Our AT&T had a stronger signal then our Verizon however we were able to work using both (site E7).

The Tiny House was charming, but it’s definitely not ideal for larger adults. With four big guys in our group, watching two of them climb into the lofts through the small opening and then get back down was pure comedy—fun to watch, as long as you weren’t the one doing it. The lofts are better suited for younger, more agile individuals who haven’t yet lost the flexibility of youth. My only critique is that it would have been helpful to include this detail in the description. If we’d known, we likely would have opted for two of their hotel rooms instead.

Very nice. The front workers are so kind. And I met A Navy Veteran. She was so cool. Just very nice people and lakes.

We were here this weekend and loved it! Trick or treating was awesome! Plenty of candy! Everyone was polite and nice. I loved the fact cars, bikes, and golf carts couldn’t drive while kids were trick or treating for safety. Will do again!

We have been participating in Boo-Fest for 12 years and this year the trick or treating was way far better! No cars or golf carts were allowed to drive through the camp ground which was SPECTACULAR! Thanks to Diamond lake for thinking of our kids safety!

We really enjoyed trick or treating here this weekend. Especially enjoyed the fact the vehicle/golf carts were not allowed to drive around the park while the kids were out trick or treating. Really thoughtful for keeping the kids safe. Looking forward to next weekend.

We have been coming here for a few years now and have really enjoyed it. Always felt comfortable camping here and have had great camping experiences. But, It was getting too wild and a party atmosphere the past couple years and we were considering finding other places to go. Once the campground sold, new management has been making changes and things have been toning down. I know some people don’t like change, but things will only get better and very happy to welcome The new management to a future success!
