Situated in Perkinston, MS, the park is nestled within the scenic landscape of Stone County. The surrounding area is characterized by dense forests and rolling hills, offering a distinctly rural feel despite being easily accessible from Highway 49. Diamond Lakes management / owner should consider it renamed to Algae Ponds, started off on a bad note. I called to make reservations and was oversold and I will explain the underdelivery. First we established a price over the phone and was told he does things the old fashion way, no receipts only his word and to add insult to injury he charges 3% credit card fee. Second he told me fishing is permitted because it is private property and that would be great if you like catching algae. Third, there are no fire pits, BBQ grills or picnic tables if you happen to catch a fish. Fourth he has the internet but it's not secure and it sucked. Fifth he scraped the barrel with a low shot telling me TV was for long term people and I was only 4 nights but if I wanted he would let me, please don't patronize me sir. I certainly won't be staying here again and we travel here twice a year. Our stay was quite uneventful so we decided to sacrifice money and leave this mistake early. Pensacola Beach here we come… To make a long story short, don't trust this guy, his word is crap, his lakes are ponds and his fish is algae.

Wonderful! This is a great place. No, it doesn’t have asphalt roads (gravel) thru the park and it may not be manicured as some of the more luxury resorts/parks have. What it DOES have is spacious sites, wonderful large dog run, pretty small private lakes for fishing, friendly folks, and one if the nicest owners/managers you’ll find anywhere and always available for help if needed. Good clean bathhouse and laundry facility. I’ll be back!

This park was just about perfect! Spacious sites with concrete pads, huge dog park, trees, and grass everywhere with several ponds scattered throughout the property. Clean, cool laundry and so much more! Special shout-out to the owner, Troy, who rescued us on our way to his resort when we had a flat. Hope to see you again in the future!

I would say this is the best run RV park we have ever been to. The lots are spacious, we got a concrete pad with 50 amp and free directTV. Plenty of ponds with scenic views and gazabos. The best dog park I have used. Troy is on top of everything and has made a great place to stay.
