Simple campground, no frills. But has an amazing view of the Mt Whitney crest of the Sierra. Fresh water and pit toilets. No dump station due to its proximity to Dias Lake. Most camps are sandy, along the lake there is grass. South end has large shade trees. North end is open, but had those great views!

Well kept grounds. Right next to a lake! What could be better? And next to a horse pasture with friendly horses that walk up to the fence.

Very nice campground. Beautiful lake and amazing views. Close to Alabama Hills. The only drawbacks were a few times people rode through the campground on ATVs (against the rules, there are riding trails out the back gate) and ants. So many ants! But that's the outdoors.

We are climbers and the access to Alabama hills is great. The breeze is always nice here and it’s never crowded. We had some bug problems when we stayed near the water but they have spots away from the water and they worked out great for us. It’s very affordable and quiet. Also the view is incredible and the stars at night are stunning.

Lots of camping spots. The water couldnt be any better as far as Temps were concerned. The site we were at, the grass was very pokey. Need to wear flip floops. The bathrooms needed some attention. And bring fly spray. There were tons of bugs at night if you had lights on

Came here without a reservation for first come first serve camping and was delightfully impressed with the grounds. We were able to snag a spot on the water with lots of space and many amenities nearby. We were here on a Thursday night and the site we chose had upcoming reservations for the weekend. I would suggest reserving ahead if you plan on coming for a Friday or Saturday. Our phones had service (T-Mobile) so we were able to look at the up-to-date bird guide and ID the many birds that sang around us. Lovely spot!

Always a good time. If your going to fish they got plenty of trout, bass, blue gill, and catfish. Plenty of nice swimming spots if you have younger kids. Water is a little murky but it's still fun to go tubing, or whatever you want.

Stayed five nights in May 2021. Had a nice site near the lake in our 34 foot Class A. No problem leveling. No hook ups but ran our generator when needed. It’s a nice campground, although, as others have said, we spent some time just picking up trash around our site. The campground needs to be mowed and drivers need to slow down. We will probably stay again if in the area and be prepared to clean our site again.
