This was my first time camping solo. I called and was told to pull into any campsite without a tag and an attendant would come by to collect. I didn't want to book online and was able to have multiple spots to choose from. Backing in took multiple attempts as my expertise in that arena is wanting for more experience. Glad there were no campers that had to wait on me lol. I believe there should be power put in and water this place would see more camping here. With hydro taking so much from B.C. giving back seems a no brainer that this should have been done when they were getting permission to put the dams in.

Beautiful lake with great quadding trails, but not ideal for swimming. The lake is absolutely beautiful, and the campground is clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms were in great condition. I'd definitely camp here again for the quad trails. That said, if you're planning to swim, this might not be the best spot. The water is extremely cold, even on a hot summer day, and when it's windy, the shoreline becomes pretty unpleasant. We hadn’t originally planned to camp here and ended up arriving later in the evening, so we were a bit rushed and disorganized trying to get set up. Because of that, we weren’t immediately ready to pay, and the campground host seemed impatient. She told us she “just needs money,” and came across as a bit annoyed, which made the interaction feel uncomfortable. All is well though. Overall, great spot for ATV riders and scenic views.

Great boat launch, awesome dock, good swimming area lots of picnic tables and fire pits $20 a night with some reservable sites. The views from the boat are unmatched 😍and the fishing is great too

Very nice campground. We were the only ones here for one night and there were moths all over our vehicle within 5 minutes. No electrical hookups for RVs. Otherwise still a good place to camp for a night, and the dam nearby is a neat sight.

First trip to Dinosaur Lake. If you are a boater you should know they have an awesome boat ramp, Concrete Pad and wide enough to launch two boats at a time. They have a very nice dock to allow you to park and load up. Lake is very picturesque. Some camping spots and day use area. Well maintained.
