One of the best RV campgrounds that we have been to. Friendly and helpful staff, level sites, within walking distance of Dinosaur World and Dinosaur Valley State Park and conveniently located on the Paluxy River waterfront, which allows endless hours of playing, exploring, and swimming in the water for kids and dogs. The campground also has a beautiful dog park and offers pools and a playground. The park is well organized, clean and offers fun activities for families. The river walking trail ties directly into the state park hiking trail system. We had a wonderful time, this time and the previous times, and we definitely will be back.

This park is fairly new, trees at each site, but they are far from full grown. Every rv site is a pull through with full hookups. Two swimming pools, one family and one adults only. Kid friendly movies on weekends, and plenty of activities in the park. And adjacent to Dinosaur Valley State Park. You can hike in from camp (just make sure you have your pass). Dinosaur world across the street. Oh and they have cabins to rent also.

Our weekend stay at Dinosaur Valley RV Park for the TWST4Girls “Campin’ in the USA” trip was nothing short of phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the park’s beautiful scenery, clean grounds, and exceptional hospitality. The staff made us feel welcomed and well taken care of the entire stay — truly top-tier service! The cabins were spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped — complete with comfortable beds, a full kitchen stocked with pots, pans, utensils, seasonings, and everything we needed to make it feel like home. We also appreciated the ample parking, privacy between cabins, and the overall peaceful atmosphere of the park. The amenities and activities were endless! Our group enjoyed the refreshing pool, access to the river, basketball court, and the adorable barnyard animals that added so much charm to the experience. And the best part? Dinosaur Valley State Park is just steps away, making it easy to explore the trails, fossil sites, and lookout points without ever needing to drive far. Whether you’re planning a family getaway, a group retreat, or a youth camping adventure, Dinosaur Valley RV Park is the perfect destination. Clean, comfortable, and full of fun — it’s a true Texas treasure we can’t wait to visit again! 🦕🌳🔥 10/10

We LOVED this campground. Super clean, and right next to the dinosaur park! This park has goats, and you can play with them! It was so fun! Also, the river is RIGHT there, and they have a dirt track for bikes! Awesome place.

My family and in-laws rented a cabin (2 cabins total) and they were very clean. They have a rustic feel to them and the A/C was cold! No bugs in the cabins. Power. WiFi. Fire pit. Picnic table. Stove. We went on a fall festival/Halloween weekend and they had plenty of activities for the kids. The staff was friendly. We have already rebooked again for a few months and this time, we will visit the State Park. The campsite is located within walking distance (across the street) from Dinosaur World. Kids loved it.

We had a great time at DVRVP. Everything was very clean and well cared for. We saw the owners & their team working hard to keep everything picked up over the holiday weekend. The kids loved the biking area and pool. The dog park area was clean and had fresh tennis balls. I really enjoyed walking down to the river with my morning coffee. It is very easy to see how much the owners care about their property. The easy access to the state park and Dinosaur World was just a bonus. We’ll definitely return.

Didnt get to spend enough time there but I was impressed. Got a campsite for the night and stayed in our tent.. the bathroom/showers building was near our site. Very nice and clean. Would definitely go back!

I have never stayed in a cuter, more inviting cabin in my many years of camping. The owners and workers were incredibly friendly and treated us like family. They had wonderful Easter activities on property as well as extensive knowledge about things to do in the surrounding area. You can really tell the owners care about their property and the guests who stay there!

This place is awesome for families! Walking distance to the Dinosaur Valley State park hiking trails My daughter (9yo) LOVED THE BABY KID GOATS!! The family pool looked awesome and cannot wait till some more shade trees grow up around the camp sites. They were installing new trees while we were there. They also offer, a bath house, playground, evening movies, hay rides, basketball court, cabins, and event center

Nice park with full hookups and pull through sites. Does have a nice pool and hot tub but didn't get a chance to enjoy it on this trip. Very close to the state park which has great hiking trails and a lot of interesting things to see. It's a great weekend getaway spot.
