Stopped by Sunday night to see the "Light the Night" Drive Through Xmas Display. Got to drive around at our own pace, enjoy the view, take photos during the drive and even got pictures with The Grinch after! The lights are not so much "wow factor" for adults but still very enjoyable, but it was a fun date. Amazing for kids! They were stoked with each figure. I would have liked if the concession halls had posters of "why we chose this figure" or "how we made this motorcycle Santa". This would be something to learn and talk about and an excuse to hang around for longer and make me feel like the money was worth it. I enjoyed it. I sure reccomend it. But it does feel like its missing something, specially if one would make the drive from Calgary just to see those.

Price quite high but beautiful park, many animals in small enclosures despite all the extra un-used land for humans to walk around in. Lots of space for kids to run and play. Very tired and sad looking g animals. Honestly though, they looked very tired or highly lol . Also felt bad for one man lost his 2$ and the poor deer heard the coin go in and waited for over an hour for the treats to come out! Such a tease. So sad. Told 4 staff and not one went to fill the treats. Also this was before noon, so …. Not cool. Would love to see more going I. I. This great place, hire a pro facepainter, sell balloons or hire a balloon clown, so much potential here. Please make the fences larger and help the animals feel more happy/awake ? Many animals stuck to the camp side of fence so was hard to see those ones . Such as camel and lamas… lived the art and nice gift shop. The reptiles should not be I. There first tho g people see who have a huge fear. Should have a more separate area for those types, such as Yyc zoo has.

Always a great experience. Team is very knowledgeable. The facility is so clean the wildlife are cared for in such a humane way. Everytime we have gone the keepers are always ensuring the enclosures are spotless. It is a wonderful spot for all ages. Skip the zoo and support a local community you wont regret it. Golf carts are available for ease especially for those who have a harder time walking longer distances. Pack a lunch and spend the day, or pop by the concession for a snack.

A must stop. This place was cool. Some walking involved. Rest stops and coverage along the way if it rains. You can rent a golf cart if needed. $20 an hour to rent. Staff were informative and friendly. The main building and bathrooms are in good condition and clean. You get to get pretty close to the animals. There’s even Dino’s along the walk as well as play structures.

Excellent place. Well maintained and landscaped. Friendly staff, knowledgeable, and happy to help. The animals seem happy, well provided for. There are golf carts available if mobility is an issue. The paths around the enclosures are well thought out. Where else can you safely get 3 feet from a grizzly? Highly recommended.

It's really a good place to visit. We enjoyed camping and roaming around to see the wild life animals. There is also a bear presentation. So nice! 😉 My whole family enjoyed our 2 nights stay. 💚🌱 The washroom and showers are super clean. Cleaner than hotels😁 We will definitely comeback here. I reschedule our stay here 3 times, they didn't charge us. They are so kind unlike in the other campsite that needs a fee to reschedule it. 🌱

Super friendly staff, Bill and Shirley are very accommodating, they can always answer questions with their contagious smile. Washrooms are clean, they sanitized it every now and then. Cozy place to spend our weekends., nice cabins. Animal caretakers/trainors/educators are all amazing!!!!

Interesting place, well presented and laid out. Personally I have a bit of a problem with these sort of places; yes the animals look very well cared for, all look heathy etc. That said, metal heath is a different story, several of the bears and wolves seem to be just pacing backwards and forwards. The black bears and grizzlies in particular were showing the classic signs of pacing in small areas, leaving a clear path of worn grass. This is why I’ve down rated the overall score. If you have no issues with captive, large nomadic animals then I’d recommend visiting.

We went May long weekend and stayed in one of the cabins, spent the day in the park, plus getting the extras. Amazing time, staff were supper friendly and helpful anytime we had a question. Love the animals and getting up close without walking on pavement or being elbow to elbow with others. Cabins are small but very comfortable and cool. The do not have water but does have power. Outhouse was crazily clean, never smelt and always stocked. We never did make it over to the shower house. Very cool to listen to the lions, tigers and other animals in the evening. If you listen to their instructions and read the safety signs you will have no issues with them getting upset - please don’t take pictures at certain times of the bear show, don’t poke the animals, don’t climb on the fences, stay back when we feed the lions, don’t drive the golf carts on the grass….

A cute little zoo! There's a decent amount of animals and some nice trails that lead you around the park! It was so fun looking out for the animals! The staff are all really friendly and there's a huge parking lot and it's quite easy to find. A nice hidden gem!

Update 2021: We went back after not visiting for 4 years to see if things are better. Some of the animals looked a bit healthier but still the park seems to be doing just bare minimum. Three skinny wolves pacing in a rather limited enclosure, for example, rather than a pack of them running carefree as they used to. The number of bears seem fewer than before, and most animals there didn't seem too happy. A lot of the charm that was once there is still missing. Even encountered a rude employee yelling at the customers. The employees in general didn't look too happy but rather tired. I got the impression they are there mainly to collect checks rather than because they had a mission to preserve and care for animals. The presentations were fewer, shorter and some rather dull. Review 4 years ago: We have been coming almost every year but a lot of the animals are not there anymore and the bears that did interesting tricks, starred in movies, etc also have left (apparently to Ontario with the trainer Ruth).... Most of the few animals that are still there just laid there doing nothing. Maybe it's the heat of the day but i don't remember feeling disappointed before. The tiger "show" consisted of a tiger eating. The bear presentation was still interesting it was still not like it used to be. I asked a staff what happened to all the animals that used to be there and I was told "you know, animals can't live forever". I don't think that many animals would have died of old ages in a year, and I wonder if they culled them. I liked the fact the place was started to give rescue animals a large space to have a good life, but for some reason the management (perhaps new owners) seem to have a different philosophy now. There are only bare bone number of animals left. It used to be so beautiful to see a pack of wolves running around, a herd of ostriches, countless deer, etc, as if seeing them in the nature, but this time, we only saw one skinny tired sad looking lone wolf, one monkey not even interested in picking up nuts we threw in, two ostriches, two squirrels, one deer, etc. There used to be so many.... I understand you can't save all the animals and it costs money to feed them but it lost a lot of its magic. It was embarrassing to bring out-of-town guests as I had highly spoken of this place.
