There are no rooms, the camp sites are perfect. When we got there another site was being prepared and they literally powerwashed everything and it looked brand new before the next person came in. No bugs, a ton of lizards and turkey. The bathrooms were always perfect which for a campsite with sand, that was odd to me. People were great, food was great, and transportation to the parks was easy and great! Remember though, for tent campers, the humidity... bring lots of fans...

We absolutely love the campground. We have been coming for years and it just gets better. Sites are good. The transportation to and from the parks and disney springs are easy. The scavenger hunts, campfire and other activities give you time to wind down and relax. Highly recommend.

Very pretty campground in a cypress and pine forest. Campsites are spacious with vegetation separating them. There are a lot of activities going on in the campground and even more for the holidays. We stayed for Halloween. Many people decorated their site and there is Trick or Treating nightly. Golf carts are the best way to get around.

Site 232 Evidently loops 100-300 are the oldest sites in the campground and are smaller than the newer ones. Our site was a little narrow, but we didn’t have a problem extending the awning and using our camp chairs. The parking site is a concrete pad, level, clean and in great shape. Large pea gravel area at the back of the site with picnic table and fire ring. Surprisingly private. The bathhouse was very nice and very close.. We really liked the site and the location, very close to the camp store and marina for the water taxi to the Magic Kingdom. Regular bus stops nearby for other sections of the amusement park.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground is a masterclass in family fun! Pristine RV sites, full hookups, ample shade, and jaw-dropping views of WDW fireworks and the Electrical Water Pageant. Kids go wild for hayrides, archery, canoeing, pony rides, and nature trails. Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-Along with s’mores and movies under the stars is pure magic. Dogs love the trails and dog park. Boats to Magic Kingdom are a breeze—connect to monorail or Skyliner for all parks, running an hour past closing, even for after-hours events. Staff’s attentive, but ask for check-in perks like pins upfront; they’re busy! So much to do, we extended a week and grabbed the grandkids. Unforgettable!

We love this place. It has to be what every other campground strives to be. Park your vehicle and forget it, there is bus service to everywhere and bus stops everywhere. Also, there are no bugs, almost total shade, and the cleanest campsites you will ever use.

I normally do not write reviews but when we talk about the brand name "Disney" we pay a premium for an experience. In this case there was nothing but disappointment. We checked in 04/25 for our sons birthday which everything went ok this day no issues. Saturday however we woke up and went to the kids pool at 12 (they open at 10). Right after we got there the staff tested the water and told everyone the pool had to be closed. They mentioned they needed to call their vendor to correct the issues. Fast forward it is 5pm and the pool was still closed (not sure when they actually reopened). When you are going on a short trip I understand things happen but you are disney and you have 1 kids pool on the whole ground that is shut down. Disappointment 2 was before we booked we were told there was a stocked pond on the property and just buy the live bait and you will be set. We did just that and 3 days of fishing and not a bite. They also have about a 20 ft long dock that you are required to fish from. Now mind you there are 1000 campsites which the dock fits about 5 people fishing otherwise you are casting on top of one another so safety you can't do more. But again you are disney can you not afford a bigger dock? Or and actual stocked pond? I understand it is fishing but it is also an experience that you pay the disney premium for. We have also stayed at plenty of the disney hotel resorts with no issues but the camping experience was a birthday disappointment.

We stayed here in March for spring break. We are avid Disney fans and love the resorts, but this was way more affordable for our family of six. I will say if you are into camping, it’s pretty good. There are multiple places to eat and activities. However, we stayed in a cabin and we basically had to beg for service and for them to clean. The cabin slept 6, but they only provide towels for 3. The blankets are super thin fleece ones. They don’t provide towels at the pool like a normal Disney resort. It just didn’t have the magic that staying in a resort did.

We went here for the first time and… it was magical. We stayed in our tent… such a nice, happy place to disconnect from daily hustle and stress of life. All workers are amazingly nice, transportation every 5 minutes in case you didn’t get a golf cart, the amenities -bathrooms, showers, restaurants, shop, campfire, activities- TOP NOTCH! We will come back FOR SURE!

Me and my family went to Disney Fort wilderness spring break this year. I have to say it is awesome. The campground itself is just wonderful one of the things that I would definitely change which I’m still gonna give a five star review on because the campground was amazing, Is you do need to have Propane refills or where people can actually buy a propane tank seeing how it is a very expensive campground so people won’t have to drive off of the campground to go to Publix or Walmart to get refills. Every other campground that we’ve been to has had refills on propane this will help out the campground so much because not only were we there for one week, but we had no propane for our camper because we ran out, and we did not want to leave the campground so we just used the showers that were available which no problem but however, once again if it’s expensive, the campground itself then there should be propane on the campground. Please bring your own propane and even an extra tank. The front office was not very clear on why they didn’t have propane. The lady just said the guy that handled the propane before COVID has retired. However, there are plenty of companies out there that would do this. Plus it’s Disney. The money this place brings in there should PROPANE!!! We did love the deer , the turkeys and rabbits we saw. We also loved the HOOP DEE DOO Revue. There are so many friendly people we met here and it was a pleasure. The pools are so nice and so much fun. The campground is super clean and the slabs are nice and level. They have ponies and horses and my kids rode the ponies. They also had kayaks and canoes and ride did the kayaks. Super fun. They have scavenger hunts. We will be back during Christmas. 🎄 GIVE THIS CAMPGROUND A TRY. You will deff not regret it. It’s pretty awesome.

This place is fantastic. We rented a cabin that sleeps six and has a full kitchen. The price we paid for this is the same as a deluxe resort that sleeps only 5 and no kitchen. We had Publix deliver groceries and snacks and it was simple. It's within the wilderness area of Disney World so you truly feel like a vacation within a vacation. There's great food, great shopping, horseback riding, fishing, archery, swimming pools and playgrounds, and so much more to do here. We even rented a golf cart to get around which has been a blast rouse and helpful as not everything is close. We'd highly recommend this.

Disney, you can do better. Why offer wifi if it does not work. Food trucks, oh, sorry they did not come tonight, but no announcements, people standing around waiting and waiting. Takeout food, wait no mash potatoes or fries, no healthy veggie options. Definitely use a water filter to your RV.

We had to change our plans last minute and booked a great 5 day stay here - we were so grateful something opened up last minute! We were in the 1200 loop which was in a great location. We were able to walk everywhere and the walk to the Disney Park Shuttles was quick. We have a 43’ 5th wheel and backing in to the site was a little tricky depending on how the camp set up across the way is. (There was a truck with a trailer parked right on the edge but the owner was there and he was able to move it for us). There are several garbage/recycling bins around. We were so happy to see recycling as we found there is very little recycling in US RV parks. There is a lot to do and events in the evenings. The pool is kept at 84 degrees… There were lots of security driving around and the grounds were very clean! Our sleep was solid as it was very very quiet after 1000. We would definitely stay here again - we’ll worth the extra money you pay!
