The sewer sites are not built very well for dumping, It will take all of a standard hose just to make it from the gravel which your camper is parked to the sewer outlet and then you have to pile up rocks for it to drain properly. If you need to dump trash as far as we could see you are out of luck unless you go over to the old camp ground and put it in one of the trash cans. The old campground on the surface looks really nice in the woods with actual paved pads and room for you to sit out in front in your chairs and grill but it floods pretty bad. The new campground is basically a field by the highway with very narrow gravel pads. I noticed none of the campsites had really adequate room to put your stairs out and still have enough space out in front of campers for grilling and relaxing.

There are two campgrounds here. The newer one has no trees around it so we chose to stay in the shaded campground. The bathrooms are locked and no one told us or offered us a key card to get in them when we checked in. Website said they were open until 6. they closed at 4:30 and we didn’t have an after hours number to call. The playground had a huge hole in the tunnel that connected the slides so my kids could not safely play on it. The campground had not been picked up. The fire pit had not been cleaned out. There were leaves everywhere that had not been raked up which could potentially be a big fire hazard. The dump station was not working so we had to hook up at the other campground at an empty site and use their sewage before we left. There were no dumpsters around to dump trash. It rained and most of the campground where we stayed did not drain and had a lot of standing water. The street light by our campsite was out. It has a lot of potential but needs a lot of work to improve.

It's ok if you have a boat to launch. Not sure about camping although like others have mentioned it seems to have a few creepy guys that tend to always be down there just watching people an particularly the women. If alone always bring paper spray or strap. I would recommend installing cameras an maybe active security to verify why people come down. Just suggestion's. The fishing isn't that great here but it's a pretty scenery.

GREAT PLACE TO LAUNCH YOUR BOAT. MULTIPLE BOAT RAMPS. THE AREA IS CLEAN AND SAFE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. NEVER STAYED AT THE CAMPGROUND THOUGH. BATHROOMS ARE LOCKED UNLESS YOU HAVE A SWIPE CARD. THANKS...

Used the campground to dump our tanks. Did not stay here as we stayed with our son and daughter in law over the holidays. Clean place, nice spacing between campsites. Many have full hookups.

This place I think has a heavenly feel about it and in the fall time when the leaves have changed it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I have watched many of sunset and have cried only because you just feel a little closer to heaven. A great place to go and sit and meditate or just do some fall pics, a great place to propose to your loved one or even to have a little wedding ceremony. I think this place is absolutely gorgeous thank you Ditto landing for having such beautiful scenery

Great outdoor place. Plenty of room to walk around. Beautiful landscape. Paved area but impossible for those on motorized chairs to get off the paved area and onto the grass where the benches were located. Or get our dogs to grass to relieve themselves. Needs more handicap friendly area.

The shorter list is what CAN'T you do at Ditto Landing? First, there's a marina (with gas) for all of your boating needs. Plenty of areas to fish from the bank because of that. They have an events area, walking/biking trails, put in spots for canoes and kayaks, and other outdoor recreation areas. The Aldridge Creek Greenway even has an entrance/exit there, so you can literally hike all through South Huntsville just starting from Ditto. Great public space for Huntsville to have and maintain!

We absolutely LOVED this place. The Ditto landing staff were very friendly. The campsites were very clean and well maintained. When my husband had to go into the hospital the night before we were to leave the Ditto Landing staff were very accommodating, they worked with me on extending our reservation period and getting the balance owed paid. I've never had a place of business be so understanding and willing to work with me on any situation but Ditto Landing went above and beyond to help us. Thank you to all the Ditto Landing staff for being the kind and wonderful group of people you are.
