Great little spot to stay, gated entry, friendly and accommodating staff. Moved there for work, affordable monthly rates, location was good, between Gainesville and Starke. Nice fishing pond, Saturday night bonfires and dog park available if you have pets.

I had the pleasure of staying at Gainesville RV Park with my family a couple weeks ago. The park manager, Lindsay, provided a friendly greeting when we arrived and provided a detailed tour of the property. Our dog enjoyed the dog park with the wide open room to run. Unplugging to take an evening walk around the pond was relaxing. The staff gave some excellent suggestions of local places to eat, all of which were delicious. I highly recommend staying at Gainesville RV Park. We are planning our next trip to allow us to participate in one of their park wide events. We just missed a bonfire and are looking forward to see what may be in store for us.

Stayed at Gainesville RV park for the month of February 2025 in a Class A towing. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed across from the pond on a transient site. The services were reliable and the bathrooms clean. There was a fitness room, laundry room and pavilion as well as a dog park. And a propane refill station. The location was central to Starke and Gainesville. We especially liked visiting the flea market across the road every weekend to purchase fresh vegetables for the week. There is a lot of potential for this campground going forward - we really hope they embrace the possibilities. We would stay here again. We enjoyed our month here!

Our original site would have been tight with our fifth wheel. Even though it was late by the time we got there, the manager found us a site better suited to our size. Park was clean and felt secure even though it was near a busy area. Restrooms are very clean. We had a nice time visiting with family. Office staff is friendly and helpful.

Mrs Primarie, has been an excellent manager. I’ve been living in this campground over a year and I have always received unreserved hospitality and kindness. She’s displayed attention to detail and effective communication with bill and camp related questions. I always felt safe and secured in the neighborhood. Overall, I appreciate her hard work and dedication, I’m grateful for all the experiences and memories I made in the campground under her supervision.

We needed a place near Gainesville due to an emergency and didn't have a reservation anywhere. We called Dixieland and they were great! We stayed in a pull through site near the front and it was pretty tight but a nice place. Full hook ups, wifi was "iffy". The back part of the park is obviously long time or full time, some of the RV's look pretty bad but that's their business. The laundry was nice and clean. It is right across the street from a flea market which was "colorful" lol, great place for produce. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Easy to find RV park Northeast of Gainesville. We stayed there as a stopover on our travels when we visited UFs campus. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The roadways are very wide and easy to navigate. Many of the sites are pull through, making easy and quick entry and departure. The park is very dog friendly. Many of the sites are extremely close together, so not the place if you are looking for peace and quiet or tranquility. We were on top of our neighbors and couldnt help but hear even quiet conversation. There are some nice sites, including those on a small pond, so if that's what your looking for, ask for a larger site. Full hookups were well maintained. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if passing through.

Stayed a week. Definitely would stay again. Nice pond, loved the ducks. People were nice. Quite most of the time.

The staff are very nice. Some of the people that are staying, aren't friendly at all but a lot are. They're installing a pool soon, and that'll be fun. We've been here for a little over a year. There's also places for overnighters. And the pond is really pretty. A little dog run for the dogs.

Great stopover on our way south. Spacious pull through sites. Friendly staff with a restaurant on premises. Would stay here again.
