DJ's RV Park

Overview

DJ's RV Park offers a cozy, well-maintained retreat in the heart of Lake Havasu City. Unlike the sprawling commercial resorts found in larger metropolitan areas, this park provides a quiet community atmosphere where travelers can truly relax and enjoy the famous Arizona sun. It strikes a perfect balance between a laid-back desert vibe and the modern conveniences required for a seamless stay, making it a reliable choice for any weary traveler.

Location & Surroundings

Perfectly situated just off the main thoroughfare, the park is nestled in a prime location near the shores of Lake Havasu. The surrounding landscape is characterized by stunning desert vistas and rugged mountain peaks that glow at sunset. Visitors benefit from being a very short distance from essential local services, including diverse dining options and shopping centers, allowing for a mix of wilderness exploration and urban convenience.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is thoughtfully designed to cater to the practical needs of modern RVers. It features full hookup sites with both 30 and 50-amp electrical service, accommodating everything from smaller camper vans to larger motorhomes. On-site facilities include a clean laundry room, well-maintained restrooms, and private showers. The spacious gravel sites are level and easy to navigate, providing ample room for slide-outs and outdoor seating setups during your stay.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

There is no shortage of activity near this desert destination. The iconic London Bridge is just a short drive away, serving as the gateway to the Bridgewater Channel and its bustling waterfront area. Nature enthusiasts can head to Lake Havasu State Park for boating and swimming or explore the scenic hiking trails of SARA Park. Golfers will also find several reputable courses within the immediate vicinity for a morning round.

Who This Park Is Best For

This location is best suited for travelers who prefer a peaceful, smaller-scale environment rather than the high-energy atmosphere of a massive RV resort. It is particularly popular with seasonal snowbirds looking for a long-term winter home and weekend visitors who want a centralized hub for their lake adventures. If you appreciate a friendly, community-oriented park with easy access to city life, this is the place for you.

$65/night is very high for what is basically a mobile home park. Lots of "permanent" residences. The couple who checked us in were wonderful and their communication was outstanding!! Other than that everything here was ok - nothing below average, nothing above average. Fairly level site, good water & power, clean restrooms/showers. Please don't look at the 3 stars as a negative rating. It was an expensive, average place to stay.

We visit Lake Havasu a lot because my wife's cousin Tiny lives here. This is the first time we stayed at DJs and liked it. It is a small park with around 100 spaces but the spaces are a pretty decent size. The pads are large gravel which is not bad. Some of the spaces have picnic tables. They have a club house with pool tables as well as a pool. They provide wifi which we found to be pretty good but they do not allow streaming TV. They also do not allow you to wash your car or RV. They are dog friendly. The park is down below highway 95 so you have to look for the signs to see the entrance. We wouls stay here again.

Gem of an RV Park! It's the people that make a difference! Super friendly park, nice facilities, spacious sites.

My wife and I have stayed at this resort a number of times, and have enjoyed our stay. However, two years ago, we booked a site, and we were unable to go due to Covid restrictions. They allowed us to transfer our deposit to this year. However, now I have a serious illness to contend with, and again, cannot attend. We were very polite and provided months of time for this cancellation. They stated that due to this being our second cancellation, our deposit of $287.50 would not be allowed to carry over to next year, and that the full amount would be used as a cancellation fee. Due to their lack of compassion, I cannot, and will not, promote staying at this resort.
