As we said when we were there. Your Rv park is an absolute mess. You need to be honest with potential rv people and post about the MAJOR construction going on at your very expensive campground. We would never return. R Brooke

We had a wonderful time with our stay at Dockside RV. The people are so nice and helpful, we were given an ideal spot to the firework on the 4th they provided off the pier. The resort also provided barbecue for the guests here at the resorts. They know how to make you feel welcome and this will be on our to do again list. Thanks for all the hospitality.

My husband and I visited Alabama for the first time in April. We had a great time and found the Dockside RV Resort to be a bonus in our travels. The hosts, Sabrina and James, greeted us warmly and immediately made us feel welcomed, answering our questions and providing helpful information to make our stay enjoyable. The campground suited our needs perfectly - level parking, full hookups, large lots, dog friendly and peaceful surroundings. During our stay we enjoyed exploring the area, eating at a local restaurant, fishing and crabbing from the resort's dock and nearby marina, finding a local bait/seafood shop, relaxing and soaking in the beautiful sunsets. We experienced and enjoyed Southern hospitality at its finest throughout our Dockside stay. We hope to return in the future, allowing us to break away from our upstate NY winters. Thanks to all!

We stayed at Dockside Rv Resort for 3.5 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The resort manager, Sabrina , and her husband James are the most welcoming and attentive resort hosts we have encountered. The lots are spacious, we stayed in a ocean view lot and waking up to the sunrise and seeing the sunsets over the water was heavenly. It is a 23 minutes from Dauphin Island, 30 minutes from Mobile, Al, next door to the fishing village of Bayou le Batre, where you can buy shrimp and seafood, fresh caught that morning. We are already looking forward to next spring so we can visit and kick up our feet in Southern Alabama at Dockside RV

We stayed here for the month of dec 2024. I was really excited about this park because of its location but sadly have some mixed feelings after our stay. It is a Beautiful location and you cannot beat the views. Very friendly management on site. However the managers always had their dogs off leash roaming the campground to the point the big dog they had towards the end of our stay climbed our steps to our camper. If we didn't have dogs I probably wouldn't care, but it made it very difficult sitting outside with my dogs tied and in control in our site. Or even just walking around the campground without being approached by their dogs. I don't feel it's our place to ask management to keep their dogs in their control. There isn't really anywhere near the campground to walk either as the surroundings area had Lots of random dogs that would charge. ( this clearly not the campground fault) The foot ball length fishing pier that's advertised is still being built, but the small part that's done is usable. There's no shower house or laundry or anything you get your site and that's it. The campground is close to town for your needs and is nestled into a quiet area with hardly any traffic. The pool is super cute, although not heated. There definitely is Lots of work to be done so hopefully with the new owners it will be an amazing park.

Stayed for the weekend with my two dogs. Very clean and camp host was remarkable. Have found my new favorite place. I live in Florida and the parks there are so crowded. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise watch the pelicans fly in formation — amazing. Thank you Dockside for a great weekend

Our first RV experience went great here! We were able to park, hook up, fill, dump etc without any problems. Gary was very helpful. There were many beautiful birds as well as a great ocean view with spectacular sunsets.

My company installed the electrical services for this business. The Owner only paid a small portion of the work and has made no attempt to pay for the remainder of the work. Very unfortunate this business owner will not pay bills. We assisted him with the building inspection department, put him first priority for his bookings, and made sure his RV lot electrical services were code compliant and ready for business. Hard to run a business when you help folks and they don’t pay their way. I am not happy to post my opinion like this but this fellow needs no reward for his poor business ethic. He called us in need and I decided to put other business aside to help him meet his schedule.

Beautiful Views of the Gulf. Very nice and clean park. Wonderful owner who wants to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. Nice swimming pool. We stayed here for a week and even though it rained the entire week, we enjoyed our stay. We will be staying here again in the future and would recommend if you are looking for wonderful views. Fishing on the pier was good also.

We LOVE this place!! We always enjoy our visits! Whether you want to watch the perfect sunset from the pier, enjoy great seafood from the local restaurants, or cool off in the pool, you can experience it all at this place. Very clean and quiet, and the owner is always there to help with your needs!!

Great Place to stay! No doubt the Best RV Park in the area, and I have stayed at them all. WOW what a beautiful View of the Gulf. Great location. Friendly Service. Very Clean/Safe/Quite. Will stay there again and try fishing from their amazing long dock! Maybe even take a ride on their scooters or kayaks. Thanks to Gary for a great experience. He even hooked me up with amazing local Seafood, that I cooked in my RV. Delicious!!!! A++ Don't Hesitate
