Beach was awesome! Peaceful and relaxing. The only negative was that the parking lot closed at 6pm, 2.5 hours before the beach closed. So, if you don’t make it by 6pm, then you will not have any access unless you live nearby close enough to walk. Street parking is also prohibited. Other than the parking situation, it was a wonderful experience. The sunset was everything!

There was plenty of parking, we arrived and were able to find a place very close to the fire pit we were trying to use. The fact that you can have a bonfire into the evening on the beach is pretty glorious. If you have a friend from out of town romantic date and not a lot of money and you wanna shut down some fun. Throw some firewood in the back of your car got a little wagon so you could drag it out onto the beach and come out to Dockweiler set around the bonfire and enjoy a very unique Los Angeles experience. Bring a blanket or some chairs as he will be on the sand.

I always enjoy Dockweiler Beach. It's fun for everyone. It's so calm and cozy at the same time. It's very spacious. You can enjoy the fire pits,or build sandcastles with the kiddos. Or simply just take a blanket and relax on the sand while you watch the planes take off from the airport. My number 1 beach! Just pure fun under the sun!
