The location is nice, direct at the beach. The reservation system is very complicated and inaccurate. The staff is not very friendly and not realy motivated. And the laundry is not available, according to the staff it will not be repaired any time soon. The restrooms are clean. The security personal though is friendly and helpful

The spots at this campsite are very small. No shade. Hardly any space to put up a shade tent. Very warm since its all concrete. The planes overhead are very loud and they have bright lights that stay on all night. The bike trail attached and beach are beautiful. Spend the extra money and get the back row if you are coming. Then your site walks right to the beach. Outdoor sand shower and indoor shower. Staff we met were all kind. Woman's bathroom is flooded near constantly. The showers dont drain right.

Right on the beach, clean bathrooms, power and water. Safe. Those are the good things. But it is just a fancy parking lot. Spaces are small. No place for kids to play near their unit so they are running in and out of the driving lanes. Lots of yelling and screaming. The biggest thing is the noise from the airport LAX is much closer than I anticipated. Flights overhead every 10 min or so.

They told me I dont have to make a reservation because they are mostly half empty. I didn’t make reservation as I didn’t know what day I will arrive. I drove all the way from phoenix to be turned back saying that park is full. Which it wasn’t , they just didnt like my RV for whatever reason. My RV is perfectly fine, maybe little older but not like some sort of junk. They would try to come up with reasons saying things like system wouldn’t allow them and stuff like that. I came with wife and kids and didnt know where to go then. Ruined my trip and made me really upset. I hope people would understand my frustration. There were many open spots. I spent hours after looking for place to park. Stuff is just unprofessional and didnt care. Im writing this review 10 days later after I cooled my head. I read later that this is typical, they profile people which in my opinion is very discriminating. Its sad that they are allowed to treat people in such way.
The RV Guys
Extremely disappointing experience. During our stay, the exit from the RV park was completely blocked, leaving no clear way for guests to leave. We carefully exited through the entrance at a very slow speed with our hazard lights on while another member of our party walked in front of the vehicle to ensure everything was safe. Afterward, Angela, who identified herself as the supervisor, confronted us in a very aggressive and confrontational manner. Instead of addressing the fact that the designated exit was blocked and discussing a safe solution, she informed us that because we used the entrance to exit, neither we nor anyone in our party would be allowed back into the RV park. What was most concerning was the response when we asked what guests should do in an emergency if the exit is blocked. Angela’s answer was essentially that they would “figure it out then.” For a facility responsible for the safety of families, RVs, and large vehicles, that response was alarming. The issue was not the rule itself—it was the lack of a safe alternative and the dismissive attitude toward what appeared to be a legitimate safety concern. We enjoyed the location, but the handling of this situation and the lack of concern for emergency access left a very negative impression.
