All in all it was a very nice place. We only stayed here for one night. Lots of police sirens and a very nasty tenant were the only draw backs. The tenant in site 87 came over to me as we were packing up noticed that I had a dog in tow. She took it upon herself to not so politely tell me where the dog park was and that she didn’t want to find dog poop out here. 😳🙄 I was literally out side our camper for maybe two minutes before she came up to me. There was no “good morning” no “how are you” just nastiness from the get go, then turned her back on me and walked off. Maybe she had a rough night or morning, who knows, or maybe she’s just a nasty person. To the owners that own this particular KOA ……please get her In check as she might adversely affect your business. This is making me question if we ever want to go back to this place. Like I said, very nice place, clean and well kept up! Oh and the dog park!!!!! Yes, the dog park was very nice and very large and we used it 😁 cleaning up after ourselves of course. Nasty people will definitely destroy a business and I would not so politely remind this woman that you are there for your customers and an attitude such as hers to a paying customer is not acceptable!

This is a fairly new campground. The pull through sites were level and long enough for our 45ft motorhome towing. There is a huge dog park adjacent to the rv park. My only criticism is the sign telling you where to turn is much too small! GPS will have you turning into a soccer park. I'm not sure if there is room to turn around if you turn there. The way we came in the rv park is after the soccer park. There's a water park on the other side of the turn

The campground is fairly new, clean and close to attractions, but the WiFi did not work the entire time we were there (3 days). I spoke to the desk clerk on our first morning about it and she just said “sorry”. It was the main reason we chose that particular campground, so it was really frustrating. Another thing I didn’t like, is that the shower rooms were totally unsecured and open to anyone 24 hours a day. No lock or code…they left the doors propped open at all times. And the shower stalls were just like bathroom stall doors. I did not use them. Lastly, we wanted to get a bag of ice and they didn’t have any. I realize we were there at the end of the season, but the store didn’t have anything.

Very clean with large paved pull through sites. One of the cleanest and we'll maintained KOA we have stayed at. Only negative is it is very difficult to find. Right in the center of town but also in the center of a municipal park. No signs in the park to direct you and Maps was all confused. Enjoyed our stay.

It is a nice park with a huge K9 area. However, the rudeness of the desk clerk overshadowed anything good about this park. We will never stay here again. Besides having her child at work and speaking about me in a foreign language, she didn't tell me how to get to our spot. She did not point out any of the amenities. She just slapped a map at me. This was all due to our original space having low water pressure and she didn't want to move us to another because we were staying 2 nights and it would mess up their bookings. Wrong. We were only there for one night. So I asked about a discount if we took the low pressure site. That really ticked her off. There were at least 2 vacant spots that night so they weren't "full" as she stated. I have never been treated so poorly by a KOA employee.

Beautiful KOA! Clean bathrooms. Well maintained park, great staff. Walking distance from a free zoo, a water park, a city park, a museum, AND all of the downtown downtown tourist hotspots! It’s a real one stop gem!! But book early, this place is extremely popular because of these things!!

Dodge City is not a major tourist spot so don't expect high end RV resort parks. That being said compared to the other parks in Dodge this KOA was the Waldorf. It was new, clean, well taken care of, and you felt safe. Pay a little more it's worth it.

5 stars for the kind staff and convenient location. I will note since it seems to be new, as well as the hotel nearby, the directions to get to it are a bit odd. If GPS takes you by the city pool, you can drive through the parking lot around the back of the pool to get to it. Or you can go back toward town and go around the hotel. Either way works. Office opens at 9am, as a note for anyone needing to hit the road early. The tent sites face a grain plant, which makes a constant noise, but it didn't bother me because I was sleeping in my vehicle. Not sure how it would sound if you're in a tent. It's also right next to a park used for kids' soccer games, which were going on when I first checked in but were gone by dark. There's apparently an aviary on the east side, as well, and a bird (maybe a peacock?) would call out on occasion. The tent sites also have cleaning tables at the far end for any hunters stopping through, which I thought was nice of them. Overall easy, enjoyable experience, and would probably stop through again, should I be in the area.
