This is my third time staying here (in the same little cabin #4) over the last decade, and I truly love this campground! Very peaceful and accessible, a great location (5 minutes from Jasper, 20-60 minutes from most big hikes, minimal road noise), and great water pressure in the showers. Tiny cabin #4 is always clean and very comfortable and the a/c works quite well. If I had any less-than positive points, it's that the showers smelled a bit musty this time around, though they were visually very clean. Overall, 10/10 experience, and I will for sure keep coming back! :)

It's not new or perfect. It's comfortable, rustic, and feels like home. I'd perfer it over any of the new impersonal expensive sites in the area.

Great campground in the center of it all. Well portioned campsites with full hookups. Has a great pool that wasn’t open yet for the season, we were there in early spring. Lots of hiking trails within short distance. Every drive has postcard views. Really close to downtown with cute shops and restaurants. Right next door to harps and dollar general making it super convenient. If you are traveling with an RV, you want to come in from Harrison. Right down the street from the new Dogpatch that is being renovated by Johnny Morris.

Great campground in the middle of everything the ozarks has to offer. Harps is right around the corner for all the things you forgot, and just a 5 minute drive to the downtown area with shopping and a great pizza joint. Owners are fantastic and super accommodating. Pool wasn’t open yet but looks like it would be a blast.

We stayed in Cabin 1! We stayed three nights. We were greeted and treated kindly and sweetly by the owners. The cabin was clean and we were able to use the toaster and microwave to make our breakfast and the hot plate and pans to make dinner. The cabin was small but plenty of room for the two of us and probably even could have easily held four. The beds upstairs were more comfortable and possibly newer mattresses, downstairs were mattresses with springs inside so you felt some lumps and sags a little. The pillows are soft so if you like a firmer pillow, maybe bring your own. It was nice to have the small kitchenette and the frig held a lot of stuff and the freezer kept our ice for our drinks frozen! And a bathroom is a must for me so having our own bathroom and not having to use the community showers was perfect. It wasn’t a strong pressure shower but it did the job!! We did have stink bugs coming in but we just relocated them outside each evening when we came back! You are in the woods so bugs are to be expected! The roads in the campground were great to drive. I had friends who stayed at horseshoe canyon ranch about 15 minutes away and they had some steep roads to drive out of each day, so Dogwood Springs being higher and more level was a plus!! The pool wasn’t up and running so if that’s a must for you, be sure to ask about it. I couldn’t tell if they just hadn’t filled it for the season or if it was no longer in use. So ask! I would definitely stay again!

Dogwood Springs is a charming campground with friendly hosts and varying site types. Our camping neighbors were close but quiet and even helpful. The bathrooms were very clean with M and F single bathrooms and three showers with hot water. The location was very convenient, and Jasper town is a gem. Proximity to many stunning hikes and river swimming was also a plus.

Stayed at Erbie campground, tent camping. Asked if I could pay to take a shower. The lady said $5 per person, not bad! But the showers were so nasty I didn't even wanna get in! Hot water lasted maybe 6mins if that! Very cold not heat& so tiny. There wasn't even enough room to get dressed!

Dogwood Springs did not disappoint! Cute, clean cabin. Ginger and Chuck went over and above to meet our needs. Wonderful stay. We will be back! The elk in Ponca were magnificent also.

We checked in an hour late and they still charged us $25 yet where they stayed was only 50 ft from our campsite. We were late because our RV broke down on the highway there. We did not plan for it to break down. It's nothing about being disrespectful. We even gave you notice that we would be late about 6 hours before.

The owners were very friendly. Bathrooms, showers, and pool were clean. The location is great. It's 1 minute to a hardware store and grocery store and close to kayaking and hiking trails.
