My family and I had the perfect day at Doran Park. Beautiful sand and relaxing waves. There were lots of happy dogs running around and they also have restrooms.

I used to live near Doran Beach, and we would go there every chance we got. I can’t fully describe the beauty of this place...it’s absolutely stunning, especially during the sunsets and sunrises. It’s also enjoyable to hang out near the jetty, where you can watch people fishing and crabbing. I’ve camped here a few times, and although it gets super cold at night, it’s completely worth it to wake up early and see the sunrise. It’s peaceful and breathtaking.

Awesome campground right on the peninsula of Bodega Bay! Dog friendly, large beach but the horn blows every 5 seconds. You get used to it, but you still hear it!

A beautiful strip of land that gives you ocean and bay. Many many birds to be seen everywhere. One Campground looks clean and beautiful. One looks quite crowded. Could be the timing of this holiday/ offseason.

$7 day use fee is reasonable and well worth it. The beach is long, large, and clean. This beach is protected from the open Pacific Ocean so the surf is mellow. Excellent location for kicking back and relaxing. Also found the public restrooms clean and well maintained.

Love Doran Beach! Really great beach for walking. Nice and flat, and about 2 miles long. If you go all the way to the end, the waves are in a protected area and very small, so great for little kids. Bigger waves are close to the entrance of the park.

Great place to bring the family. We went in February and while it was windy and a bit chilly, it was tolerable. Here, there is a small fee of $7 for a day pass. This does not include camping, which is a separate fee. There are fire pits near the parking lot that allows you to keep warm on cooler days. There are bathrooms on site that are clean. Parking can be a struggle but be patient and you will find one. It's probably best to go early. The beach is clean and there are plenty of places to go fishing either on the bay side or the ocean side. Be mindful of the traffic and crowds.

Nice campground...a little closely spaced and the fog horn requires some getting used too but overall a great experience!
