Love Doran Beach! Really great beach for walking. Nice and flat, and about 2 miles long. If you go all the way to the end, the waves are in a protected area and very small, so great for little kids. Bigger waves are close to the entrance of the park.

Great place to bring the family. We went in February and while it was windy and a bit chilly, it was tolerable. Here, there is a small fee of $7 for a day pass. This does not include camping, which is a separate fee. There are fire pits near the parking lot that allows you to keep warm on cooler days. There are bathrooms on site that are clean. Parking can be a struggle but be patient and you will find one. It's probably best to go early. The beach is clean and there are plenty of places to go fishing either on the bay side or the ocean side. Be mindful of the traffic and crowds.

Nice campground...a little closely spaced and the fog horn requires some getting used too but overall a great experience!
