I planned to stay for two nights but left early due to a few things. The volunteer running the camp was very kind and helpful, this review doesn't reflect their hard work. This campground is well maintained, but to me it's overly manicured. There's no privacy between sites at all (vegetation has been removed) so you're able to see all sites around you. The flushing toilets were clean, but there's no soap in the bathrooms and you have to press a button every 30 seconds to keep the shower water going. I also couldn't figure out how to change the temp so it was scalding. When I arrived at the park, there were two folks working on the grounds with large mowers. I figured they'd stay in areas without campers. They unfortunately decided to mow at each camp site (there's no grass, it's the middle of summer...) which was extremely loud and dusted out my campsite completely. I was genuinely shocked they'd be mowing anywhere near campers considering the noise and dust. I had to hide out in my car while they mowed, and decided to pack up and leave immediately because of it. Overall, this park is full of screaming children on their bikes, middle aged men blasting music from their campers, and folks camping RIGHT next to you. I was searching for a beautiful place by the river to relax and unwind with some space between sites- this is NOT that.

Everything considered not a bad place to stay in a RV. BUTT If you were in a tent and a is mild to light sleeper it may be difficult to get sleep with all the noisy campers and wood chopping at night fall. also sleeping in is impossible due to the loud CROWS crowing every morning all morning.

My daughter & I went for a short weekend trip with our dog to introduce her to camping. Schwartz has many comforts like flushing toilets, a shower, and water. The group sites are situated along one side, which makes them still a part of the rest of the campground. It felt like a huge family-friendly "block party": lots of people riding bikes, walking dogs, fishing, rafting. It was fun. Our dog did great, too. BTW, we were in space 30, accessible, close to bathrooms; however, the spot gets a lot of sun during the day, so it's hot. 🌞 There are a lot of nice shady spots, though.

Nice campground for tenters or RV. Large sites, most are spaced pretty good. Clean, convenient, and most of all very picturesque... our camp site was right on the river. Kayaking and paddleboard friendly. Fishing was good, however, it's a bit better up a little ways at dam spillway... 👍 Wife and I had a great stay. Wish we could have stayed a spell longer. Dump station available, restrooms and showers were clean, camp host was great 😁 Pet friendly and plenty of space for kids to enjoy themselves!!!

Family friendly, Friendly and helpful rangers, Beautiful views (especially early in the a.m) beautiful walks (near a dam), blackberry picking, family and pet friendly hiking trail, does have curfew at 10pm. no alcohol/cannabis use..kinda lame but understandable, very respectful neighbors and spacious camp sites. 2 minute drive away from Bake Bay Lake. Only camped here a few times for 3 nights, and it was all around a wonderful place to camp and make memories, made new friends, and enjoy scenic views and family fun.
