This was our second time camping here, and it was just as magical as the first! Tucked right under a bridge, the campground offers everything a family could ask for—cozy cabins, spacious campsites, well-maintained toilets, and plenty of walking trails. The highlight is the clean and safe river, perfect for spending hours floating on tubes with kids. Just half a mile away is a unique beach; unlike others with long sandy shores, this one feels like a green bed with water scattered all around. You really have to be ready to get wet, but the experience is unforgettable. Do come prepared for lots of mosquitoes, but beyond that, it’s simply an amazing place to create lasting family memories.

Been going to this campground since I was a kid. 40 years later, and I'm sharing the experience with my own kid. Lots to do here from nature hikes, gathering clams on the beach, and playing/ fishing in the river. Wa State Parks has put some money into the campground lately, and it definitely shows. The upgrades and additions are great. Don't expect wi-fi, this is a state park. But, I have never had an issue with cell service. All in all a great campground!!!

Great Park and plenty of room when camping!!! There is a little nature trail long the river and where the salmon spawn or run I guess when it’s that time of the season. I’d definitely go back and camp again!!

Great place for camping and exploring the area around. You have waterfalls that are close by and great views from mountain tops. Only issue we have had is that it seems some people do not understand quite hours.

I like this state park a lot! We camped here for the weekend. The sites were spacious and clean with full hookups. We were walking distance to the river and beach area. The beach during high tide is sandy, clear, and easy to swim in. During low tide, the sand is full of oyster and clam shells. It's fun to explore during both tides. The Observation Deck has amazing views and is pretty weathered. The river is rocky with clear cold water. It is deep in spots and can be swift. In the afternoon it was busy. We did see elk roaming about which was magical. We did experience mosquitoes both in the park and on the beach trail.
