Love this place. Quiet friendly area just outside of town makes it perfect for my family you need something from the store. Well town is like 5 mins drive if that.

My family and I had an amazing 4 days here! The Family Fun Day was a riot and I loved how each child received a gift, no matter the age. Camp spots are very clean and the campground is well organized.

Good park, very open sites but nicely situated on the river. Some of the seasonal residents are less than neighbourly, but over all I enjoyed my stay. Lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful!

We tent camped this past long weekend and it was awesome. Right on the river so the kids could fish all day long. They would cast and reel in sunfish over and over again so it was quite fun for them. Lots to do with the kids. The rock-it was a hit at the beach. Our sites (10 and 11) had big trees overtop so we got lots of shade during the hottest parts of the day and when it rained a little it wasn't too bad. The only downfall was it was a bit of a trek to use the washrooms. Not bad during the day, but late at night or when you really have to go in the morning it felt like a bit of a mission. Maybe a portapotty near the tent sites wouldn't be so bad? And the women's washroom is at the back of the building which was a bit dark and creepy to go to at night. Overall, we had a great weekend and will definitely visit again if we find ourselves in that area.
