What a fun little golf course!!! I wasn't expecting a such a well laid out course. Nice wide fairways, and even though it was early in the season, the greens were good (little slow). Thank you Double R Ranch for offering a good test of golf for our first round of the season. We will for sure be back to play more rounds this season.

Nice place, several camping lots, horseback riding, tube and canoe options, gulf and driving range. Friendly staff and very helpful.

Let's start with: not family friendly and very filthy. No kids activities, everything was ran down, including the pool area, bring your own seats for the pool. I went to work at 1am and then started heading to this camp ground after work at 4 STRAIGHT from work. To be told I didn't have a reservation until Fri to sun (it was tue), nope, pulled up my email and there it was (driving 3.5hrs away). Then told the $52 a day is for 2 people, anymore over 2 people over 5yrs old was $5 more a day (actually was told five different 🙄 things). So I am suppose to pay extra for my kids except my 2yr old. So, not knowing what to do and a huge storm pending, we started to set up camp, we had 10 other families coming in 3 days for a yearly camping trip we do. Then the campsite was littered with junk left from the last campers. Our site was a mud hole for a huge storm to hit. However, not the end of the world. Take the toddler to the "park", what a joke. The metal older slide and spinner thing were pretty cool. But the plastic playscape was dangerous 😳 ☠️ the end of the slides 🛝 were broken. So your little one huts a leg cheese slicer at the bottom of the slide. The bridge from slide to slide was 6 or 7 foot tall and the bars were big enough for my 12 yr old to climb through, which meant my toddler could fall through them. Not to mention halfway across the bridge, there is a whole in the floor with press board covering that also has a hole large enough for my toddlers leg. The bathrooms cool that they are unisex and each come with a shower 🚿 and toilet 🚻. Yet, are absolutely gross. I walked in AFTER the cleaner left once and hair all over the sink still and the floor muddy. The mold on the walls under the blow dryer , sink, and shower were the kicker. So after all this and the thunderstorm coming, I had made the decision to up lift camp and switched to a different campground about 10-15 miles away. Oh let me tell the few positive: staff was friendly, the actual pool was in better condition (not the shower, toilets or around the pool: very uninviting) and the lots were very good size width and length.

Our camp site was right on the river! I could hear the water from my bed in the tent. Nice neighbor campers too. Water & electricity - clean washrooms and amazing showers.

My wife and I Rented the Wildwood for Labor Day weekend. It's a travel trailer about 25+ feet long and it was very nice. I love this campground and Double R Ranch should have gotten five stars from me. The reason why they didn't is because, after I made the reservation almost a week in advance, I must've called back at least 5 times to ask different questions and make sure we have a great weekend. It's an hour and a half drive from my house. I was bringing my wife, my 3 year old son and our 11year old dog. When I get there to check in, now all the sudden there is no pets allowed in this rental trailer! I scoured there website before leaving, several times and NOT ONCE was it mentioned that there are no pets allowed in the rental! And everytime I called back it was never mentioned either! Needless to say I took the dog back home the next morning. I wasn't going to let it ruin my weekend, but this all could have been avoided if the rules were laid out VERY CLEARLY. I mean one would think, that if your renting a trailer and they're adamant about not having any pets, that would've been one of the FIRST things mentioned! Whatever, we had a good time anyways and it is a very nice campground.

This was the third time I’ve gone horseback riding just to be able to cross the flat river. I’m an experienced rider and just walking the trails isn’t anything special to me. When we got to the river the guide (who later told me it was her first day working there) said all she heard was there were limbs that hadn’t been cleared. I then asked the man behind the counter and he said the limbs that came down 3 weeks ago during a storm needed to be cleared. I asked who’s responsibility it is to do that and he said it was his. He said he’s been stuck behind the counter for 3 weeks and hasn’t been able to do it. With all the money this place takes in, you’d think they would pay a company to do it for them in order to maintain the been horseback riding experience. Not to mention I was told on the phone when I made reservations it would cost $33 for a weekend ride. My credit card was charged $35 and when I got there the hand written sign said $35. Kind of shady if you ask me.

We absolutely loved our family vacation here! We rented the RV and were very happy with it. The pool and restroom /shower areas were very clean. The property is very big so there were lots of opportunities to hike. The horseback riding was the real highlight! Our kids had never ridden before but they make everyone feel at ease and made it so much fun for them! 10/10 would recommend and already we're planning our next trip back!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The chalet was clean, and ready for our group, highly recommend the 2 hour tubing trip, weather permitting, make sure you wear water shoes for the walk down to the launch point. Nice views from the back, and around the chalet.
