Downata Hot Springs

Downata Hot Springs, located in Downey, Idaho, is a 100-year-old hot springs ranch just two hours north of Salt Lake City and 40 minutes south of Pocatello. The campground offers a variety of accommodations, including RV sites with water and power hookups, tent sites, group sites, and basic sites. Guests can also enjoy unique lodging options like Conestoga Wagons, cabins, house rentals, yurts, rustic cabins, and tepees. It was so peaceful. The hot water pools are open every morning, which was a lot of fun. Staff was friendly. Could hear the coyotes at night, just beautiful and relaxing.

From checking in to the pool and just the overall stay it was perfect! The pool was very inviting and clean. The camp spot was well groomed and spacious.

We were just staying 1 night and our site was in a field with no other campers near. Park is designed for people using water activities and not for short term camping. We were not provided with a map or any park information. It was definitely not some place I would recommend or return to.
