Great open secure parking lot with spots - sewer water, laundry, HOT showers, full bathroom and shade trees! About a mile walk across the Mississippi to the Arch!

We stayed in the rv park. Not great. Rv park had no electricity for 2 days by no fault of the rv park. There was a big fire behind casino that caused the outage. A lot of constant train noise! Restrooms were dirty and no toilet paper and no paper towels! Casino is small. People working at the casino. We’re very nice.

Kinda far from the Casino, but relatively quiet, access to the tram right next to the casino which is convenient. Restroom/shower house was nice, laundry on site.

Nice view of the Arch, convenient to the casino and downtown St Louis, just across the river. It's basically a parking lot with full hookups, but there is a very nice strip of grass and trees around the outer perimeter if you're traveling with furry friends. No grass on the sites. Staff at the casino and hotel are consistently courteous and professional, tho rarely friendly...but maybe that's intentional. They accept mail / packages, which can be picked up at the hotel's front desk. The laundry is just a couple of washers and a couple of dryers but they're in good shape and work well. 3 dollars a load, so hope you do well over at the casino.

Story time. Moving my family (5 people, 2 little dogs, and two cats) from San Diego to the Pittsburgh area. Bought a used RV to make the long trip a little easier on everyone. My daughter really wanted to stop and see the arch and the pictures of this "resort" seemed worth the extra cost. When I realized that we would be rolling into town at around 3am I figured we would stop at a truck stop and kill a few hours while I booked a spot online as to not to disturb anyone and avoid being turned away for it be too early or just booked up. There was no info on the website about check in - check out times and at no point during the entire booking process or subsequent emails was it stated that check in wasn't until noon. When we arrived at around 8:30am there was no signage telling us where to go but we spotted it after a lap around the casino parking lot. Got to the gate and the code did not work and there was no escape from the gate without backing out. Luckily there was no one behind us and we were able to pull aside and call. This is when we were informed of the early check in fee. Haven't had this problem at any other RV stop. Fine, whatever. Code still wont work. Asked to wait until a manager can figure out why. Called back after 20 minutes of waiting. Code still wouldn't work. At some point an employee drove over and let us in the gate. Found our spot (was reassigned due to the one I booked still being occupied but also fine). Hookups are not in a great location as stated in other reviews but I made it work. Sewer hookup is just a straight pipe with no threading. Maybe I'm missing some connector I haven't needed at any other site I've stayed at? I carry duct tape so no problem. Parking space is nowhere near level so blocks were needed. Sure. The entire place was infested with stink bugs but maybe it was the time of year. Go to use the facilities and my code still wont work. Call again and told I was not checked in properly. Code still wont work. After trying a couple different codes I think they gave up and just gave me an employee code. Discover there are only 2 dorm size washers and 2 dryers for over 200 RV spots but they are luckily open and I haven't been able to wash for 5 people in over a week. Change machine only takes ones and fives and is out of change. Call again and told they would send someone over. 2 hours later still nobody shows. Walked almost a 1\4 mile to the casino to get change and the same back. The view from the camp is mostly of a huge parking lot and the side of the casino but maybe it looks better at night. We were able to walk over to a viewing spot on the other side of the casino about a half mile to a good spot to see the arch. This is a $100 a night experience. Twice the price of every other place I've stayed. It was more pleasant sitting in the parking lot of a truck stop the night before. Pass on this one and just hit a gas station.

Good utilities but location is bad. Sewer pipe is a bad size that you cannot get a donut or something to stop it from falling out when you open your gate valve 15 foot away. You will need extensions in the newer area that accommodates big rigs. I ended up not dumping at our site. The older smaller rig area had better access to dumping but still bad sized pipe. Security came around fairly often, people have said to not venture beyond the fence as it is dangerous. Not a single staff member on grounds. They email you gate codes the day before. If you are a gasser you might have to ramp up to level. Diesels had no problems. We saw the arch which was great. Was not lit up when we were there in early May because of bird migration. That was a disappointment but Arch was still a great time. We also went to the Missouri history museum which had a really fun kids section and history of the worlds fair they had years ago. Parking is free at museum, but downtown it is overly expensive.

There's not a physical person there so if you have problems with anything, you'll have to call. You book your spot and then they give you a gate code a day before your check in. We used the code we had in the email and wasn't working. We called then and they gave us a different code which worked but then we get to the spot and it's taken. It was a trailer and they didn't have a car there to move it and it's clearly been there for a while so not sure what happened there but we had to call customer service again to let them know which spot we can take now that ours was taken. Other than that it's fairly good if you're just passing by for one night. Clean as well and we went in spring so they had bloomed trees everywhere which makes it all look really nice.

Nicely designed campground and easy to maneuver. Trees were blooming and very few people this early in the season. Hardly heard the trains even being parked next to them.

Overall, my experience was positive. There's a lot of construction and renovations going on. It should be super nice when all the work is done.
