We had our wedding at the Driftwood Inn a few weeks ago and it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. We rented out all the lodges along the bluff for a cabin weekend vibe with our closest friends and family. Our ceremony was in front the arbor by the Beach House and the reception was in a tent on the lawn in front of the Sea Side Lodge. Rikka and all her colleagues at the Driftwood were extremely professional and accommodating and overall a joy to work with. I cannot speak highly enough of the whole establishment and if you are considering having a wedding in Homer, the Driftwood in is a perfect choice.

Usually I ignore the sponsored places on Google, but that would be to your detriment in the case of this wonderful property. After being stiffed by a certain booking site with a reservation that did not really exist, we found the Driftwood nearby and booked last second at a rate that was cheaper than most I saw online in advance. The lodge rooms were beautiful, the views of the bay breathtaking, the beach access perfect, the staff kind and friendly, and the crowds of the Spit non-existent. Food was close by too and easy access to everything. Highly recommended!

The entire place is compact and neat. The rooms are very clean. Sheets and beds felt fresh and very comfortable. Great value for the room. The only setback in the room (not a setback for us but in general it could be) we stayed was that the restroom is very limited in space (less than 20” wide). For a big guy, it is almost impossible to go there but can utilize common bathroom.

Wonderful place to stay, especially on a budget in the summer. We stayed in the bunk rooms with the shared bathroom down the hall, on the second floor. The bed was SO comfortable and warm, I slept better here than at any of the other places I stayed in Alaska, and the staff was incredibly accommodating—we needed to leave a bag with them while bear viewing for four days at McNeil—and they took perfect care of it while we were gone. I would definitely love to come back again, it was great. And they have mugs! Get a mug!

My Husband and I booked a room in the main lodge. It was one of the smaller rooms and while it was small it was perfect! We only needed it for the one night so it being mall wasn't an issue. Having a private bath was the big selling point for us. The room was clean and well kept and the lobby was as well. The staff was amazing and its located next to a great breakfast spot!

This was one of the best RV experiences we've had. The attendant was prompt, helpful and courteous. We had an RV spot overlooking the bay. There is a bath/laundry house with private bathrooms and showers. We were walking distance to restaurants and shopping. On our way back from exploring took a video of a moose one block from our RV space. It was a wonderful trip. We highly recommend Driftwood Inn in Homer Alaska.

We stayed here in our camper. Gorgeous views. Beautiful walks on the beach!!. They arranged our halibut fishing and our bear watching, both of which were AMAZING AND AWESOME!! Will be back.

We traveled to spend the holidays with family residing in Homer. We booked a room at the Driftwood Inn for the duration based on previous experience a few years ago. The room and fittings were very good. The staff checked in with us several times during a 10 day visit to see how things were going and if we needed anything. They make our wonderful holiday even better.

Me and my mom stayed here one night while road tripping to and around Alaska. No reservation, we walked in and got a room. The room was fantastic, everything was clean and ready for us. Very cool spot, stones throw to the beach. Very quiet place. The staff was fantastic and accommodating. The room was reasonably priced. Would recommend and will stay there again...

Lightning A-10 pilot

I would’ve given them five stars because the service was great the rooms were very small but comfortable, However! I left my $125 holster in the room along with a box of food I called the front desk after I got back to town five hours from leaving the hotel. They said they would look for it and call me back I am 100% certain I left it there along with $75 worth of food, Coffee etc. I told him I didn’t care about the food or the coffee it was the holster that was given to me by my father. I never heard back from them, not an email or a phone call which is pretty disappointing. The rates were extremely high for the services offered I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place. But if it’s the only thing available then just be sure to keep track of all of your belongings.

We have rented the Seaside Lodge for the week. The place is amazing. It is a full size house with 5 rooms. The price to rent this awesome house overlooking the beach is on par with renting 5 hotel rooms. I'm here for work this week but will definitely return with the family.

Staying at the Driftwood is like staying with family. And the Seaside Lodge has all the comforts of home AND THEN SOME! It was a lovely spot for our family reunion and small wedding. Whether hanging out on the deck, playing on the large lawn or walking to the gallery, restaurants or beach nearby, you can't go wrong staying here. And the trolley stops right outside the main lodge for an effortless ride to the Spit.

Wow! This place is amazing. We stayed there on 4th July and enjoyed the fireworks at the other side of water. The place is very calm and beautiful. Once you are at the backyard, you will forget the outside world and just keep watching the beauty of nature. We got all the essential items we need from the lobby and kitchen. Owner is very kind and helpful family. I liked everything here except the coffee flavour, please change it 😂 Hope I can visit this place one more time but we are very far from it. ☹️
