It was a nice place to stay. The down fall is you have to pay with cash only (thank goodness for our wash quarters! ) & none of the electric sites work.

Fun little place to rest our legs on a long road trip

This campground was cute and close to the freeway, so a great cheap and quick stop while traveling. Google maps - and the campground - didn't give us a great idea of where the restrooms are. It's not the large building for the adjoining ball field, it's the tiny buildings that look like a pump house. There were some sprinklers that seem to be running non-stop. But we had fun and I liked that there was a little playground for my kids to play on while we packed up to leave!

Followed the Brown tent camping signs off I-90...$10/night...$20/hookups. Nothing fancy? Pit toilet, grass, flat ground for tent, decent picnic tables. There were local Yahoo's who like to drive around right after dark (bedtime) with no mufflers...coming and going as if drug deals or using drugs nearby...more than one car with no mufflers...came by more than one time each...one was manuel, one was automatic...both were in need of being stopped by the Sherriff and searched...I could tell from inside my tent. Worth $10 for convenience.

Nice campground, we didn't get hook up so the cost was 10 dollars. There is a train once in awhile.
