Place has potential but at the moment not worth the money. We arrived for a 2 night stay. The host was away so we set up our tent. The place could definitely use a clean up, there was a used tire and several fire pits at our site. The place is also full of litter like empty cans and pieces of food packaging. Not very safe in bear country. When we were set up a lady with 4 kids arrived, she waved but didn’t introduce herself. We only realized the next evening she was the host. No introduction, explanation of rules and active fire regulations. Toilet is clean but still a pity toilet. No running water or WiFi.

We arrived with our 25ft trailer and a short bed pick up to tow it. We reserved over the phone early and when we arrived the sites were too small for us! The sites are so overgrown from the trees and the sites are very uneven. The campground attendant did everything she could to help accommodate us. We parked out in the open with no shade and there was no grass, only weeds. The road to get to the campground is full of pot holes and very narrow. It's a good 1/2 mile drive on the very poor road. We had planned to stay 5 nights, but only stayed 2 and moved on. Very disappointed! Would not recommend this campground. The only amazing thing about this campground is the view!

Beautiful views, but the camp site was not what we had hoped. We paid for power hook ups and on arrival learned that the only hook ups were not along the water, nor in the trees (as many reviews i read raved about.) Our campsite was up ontop of a hill located in tall thistle weeds. There was no campfire ring, so we built our own. No picnic tables were available for the hillside camp spots, either. The host was kind, but often not home to assist with questions. The 1 bathroom was kept very clean. We made the most of our trip, but will not stay here a second time.

Our site was wonderful, with aspens on either side, which hid the adjoining campsites. We had easy beach access and a bright blue picnic table. The site was very peaceful and I got a great night’s sleep. The one pit toilet, which all the campsites shared, was clean, well stocked, and fresh smelling.

the view speaks for itself! excellent and under the radar campground with friendly staff, quiet and peaceful environment, and the lake is good for swimming and fishing.

Such a breathtakingly beautiful place to camp for our 4 day stay! Sharon was very accommodating and helpful. It was very nice that the campsites had quite some space between one another, which made our stay very peaceful. If you're looking for a place to camp by Glacier National Park, I would definitely recommend staying here because not many people stay on the eastern side of the park and Duck Lake Campground was only a 30 minute drive from the St. Mary's Entrance and Many Glacier.

We loved it! They treated us well and we will definitely be back. Our site was right next to the Lake, all of them are.
