The owners were very accommodating in getting us into a spot for a last minute stay. The walking paths had beautiful views.

We made a last-minute decision to head up to Duluth and did get one of the last open campsites in this campground. It was site 42 and was very tight. For those wondering, I would recommend Sites 44 to 53. These sites have the most room. Like others have said it’s hard to tell where the borders are. Restrooms are clean and the staff are very friendly. There is a small store for supplies. Cell service is excellent at 5G and TV reception is great.

Very busy campground this weekend. For a city-owned campground my opinion is it should be upgraded considerably. Should have outhouses around the whole campground instead of one toilet and bath House. On construction sites they have to have one outhouse for every eight people for osha rules. But here they can have hundreds of people and just bath house with three toilets. They were very dirty and the sign said they were cleaned at noon each day. Out of paper towels. Floor was very muddy .The grounds were very wet and a RV got stuck in his campsite and had to be pulled out by a tow truck. Instead of fixing the site they rented it the next state of somebody else. The trails going through the woods down to the fishing pier we're untouched and you'd think that somebody could trim them out so you could walk through. I know there's nothing they can do about it but the train's going by constantly make it Very noisy. Come on city of Duluth! Step up and make some improvements!

This is a city-owned campground which is very nicely kept and only a few minutes' drive to downtown Duluth. Somewhat small and compact, but nice. Plenty of hiking trails and other recreational activities in the area make the campground a good base camp. There are full-hook up sites, electric and water sites, as well as plenty of tent sites. Reserve early.

Nice campground maybe 5 full hookup sites more water and electric RV sites and tent sites. We stayed in a FH site level gravel site all utilities worked as they should. Since we were there before the season officially started restrooms and laundry weren’t available so we didn’t get to use them. Thank you for allowing us to stay hope we make it back someday
