We had a fantastic week. Would definitely recommend to stay at this campground. Beautiful area and many places to explore within an hour of the campground. Owners are awesome and so is their staff! We stayed in September 2025 and the weather was fantastic as well.

In a nutshell: Dunromin Waterfront Campgrounds and Cabins offers good prices, great location, beautiful grounds and clean facilities! I walked all around their campground to become familiar with the grounds, activities, and services available. I paused every 20 feet or so to take in the scenery. Their serene and peaceful space offers picturesque views. Immaculate grounds, showers, and washrooms. They also have an open cabin area for sitting and cooking during cooler or rainy conditions! I found the location of their campground advantageous because it’s right off the main /old trunk highway (yet quiet) and close to key tourism spots (eg, Fort Anne National Site, beautiful town of Annapolis Royal, North Hills Museum). Their property has trees all around, including in the tenting area, which I was thankful for (requirement when you need to hang tarp to keep tent dry on rainy days/nights!). The owners are friendly, engaging, professional, and very helpful! They provided me with the tips and tourism information I was seeking. It was my first visit there and definitely won’t be my last: I’ve already asked friends to join me next summer for a week in this beautiful pocket of Nova Scotia! Thank you for making my visit to Annapolis Royal a wonderful stay!

Ideal campground for everyone. Family and pet friendly. Playgrounds for the kids, as well as large green space to enjoy outdoor games and swimming pool. There is also water access and a dock. The grounds are very well maintained. There are also live bands from time to time, which are great as well! Contact the grounds directly for a schedule of events
