Overview

E and F Webber's Lakeside Park is a long-standing destination located along the pristine shores of Lake Charlotte. Location & Surroundings

Situated in the scenic Musquodoboit Harbour area, the park is nestled within a lush, forested environment that defines the rugged beauty of the region. The highlight of the location is its direct access to the water, as the park sits on the edge of one of the largest and cleanest lakes in the province. The surrounding landscape features dense woodlands and rolling hills, providing a quiet backdrop that feels secluded despite being within a reasonable drive of Halifax.

The park is designed to facilitate outdoor recreation with several key features for guests:

  • A private boat launch and docking facilities for lake exploration.
  • Dedicated swimming areas and sandy spots for lakeside relaxation.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Visitors are perfectly positioned to explore the Eastern Shore's top landmarks. The Memory Lane Heritage Village is just a short drive away, offering a nostalgic look at coastal life during the 1940s. For those who enjoy the ocean, the expansive sands of Clam Harbour Beach Provincial Park are nearby, famous for its annual sandcastle competition and beautiful hiking trails that wind through the coastal landscape and provide stunning Atlantic views.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is an ideal choice for families and outdoor enthusiasts who prioritize water-based activities like fishing, paddling, and swimming. A fantastic family owned and operated RV / campsite offering so much, during your time staying here you have free access to their boat rental fleet (paddle boards, kayaks, boats etc.) which we were very surprised about. There is a club house with activities going on all the time for anyone to join in on. There is a decent size shop area within the main entrance cabin, albeit rather empty when we got there as we were out of season. We stayed in a decent size reverse-in site overlooking the water so when we opened the back doors of the RV we had a perfect view of the water with a few trees in between… lovely! Be careful of the mosquitoes, but you’re in a a wooded site, bugs are to be expected. Decent sunken fire pits, unfortunately no metal grill on top to make cooking easy, but that was our fault for not thinking to bring one. The bathrooms / showers were incredibly clean and well maintained with really good water pressure. Quiet time is strictly enforced, which is a good thing as this is not a party site. We would highly recommend this RV / campsite and would happily return in the future if we have another RV trip in the area.

Just spent an excellent weekend at Webbers. My favourite place to camp. We were on sites A17 & A19. Service was great as always. We had a lot of fun playing Wheel of Fortune and had an excellent day of kayaking & swimming. Another Amazing Weekend!

Usually a great campground but this time the staff weren’t the friendliest and some of the sites are extremely tiny. Both faucets for water hook up were leaking. Spoke to a few other campers in the sites nearby and they experienced similar issues. One couple tried coming in 15 minutes early and they were charged. (Even though site was empty). - said they will not be coming back. They’re strict on the 3 pm. I’ve never stayed at a campground that wouldn’t let you to your site early when it’s empty, and definitely have never been charged for being 15 minutes early. They also charge if you come with your siblings (if they’re adults) which i found very odd. They said no extra charge if they’re younger? What is the difference.

We have lived on the Eastern Shore for 17 years and didn’t realize this campground existed until now. What a beautiful place, and very well maintained: the campground is clean and accessible and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The lake was great for our group, with perfect swimming conditions for all abilities (ages 4-45). The kids enjoyed riding their bikes all over the place, doing timed laps around all of the loops. We didn’t want to leave, will definitely be back every year!
