🎃 Eagle Cave "The Haunted Cave" 🎃 10 out of 10. Wes and his crew did a spooktacular job. I just went to Hells Gate --ranks 3rd best haunt in the U.S.-- and I had more fun at The Haunted Cave. The cave itself is pretty incredible too. The staff are friendly and helpful. Wisconsinites, I implore you visit Eagle Cave's The Haunted Cave when spooky season comes around!

Though members of Watertown Troop 43 had been here before (and obviously enjoyed their experience since they wanted to return), this was the first visit for my son and I. It didn't take long for us to settle in thanks to the wonderful staff (who always were accessible when we had questions/concerns). Navigating the cave was something I was worried about. However there is only one way in/out and if you follow the lit path, it will lead you to where you wish to be without an issue. The meals that were served during our weekend visit were filling and tasty. The restrooms were clean and well-stocked. Appreciated the extra activities that were offered as well. While the Scouts wished to keep exploring the caves I enjoyed a wagon ride, cave tour, walks, and Bingo and that didn't even include everything that was offered. I also appreciated the list of necessities and suggestions to bring that is on the website under the Cave Exploratory Program heading. Definitely an experience we won't forget for all the best reasons!

Some of the most friendly and accommodating people! Great tour of the cave. Relaxing environment. Thanks for a great weekend!

Started camping a couple years ago here nightly. Ended up running into a good group of permanent campers and decided to make it a seasonal experience. Very friendly atmosphere and the cave tour is a great time. Not very big crowds and a nice quiet little campground. We will continue to permanent camp here early as we like it so much

Visited Eagle Cave on the weekend of Friday, Feb 21 - Sunday, Feb 23, 2025. It was an amazing experience the whole time from start to finish. Did lots of caving, exploring, spelunking. Kyle, Wes and everyone else was really awesome. The food was really good, there were board games/card games as well as a game room. Brought home a souvenir and a lot of memories. An amazing place, wish I could have been there a little longer, one of my favorite places to visit!

Sleeping in a cave. Very unique experience being underground. But there are plenty of lights so you are never in complete darkness. The owner and his son work very hard to keep everyone happy and the events running smoothly. I recommend trying it out at least once if you are a scout troop. As the youth will have a lot of fun climbing through the caves and exploring all of the nooks and crannies.

Our troop visits every other year. The boys have a blast and sleeping in a cave is not as bad as you might think. The food is good too! Love the fried chicken.

Highly recommend! Our Scouts BSA troop did the In-Cave camping, which was so fun! Not too cold, as it stays 50 degrees in there all the time. There were so many places within the cave to explore and discover! The family that owns Eagle Cave clearly love what they do and they all work very hard to make sure everyone has a good time! I called in advance about some dietary restrictions and they were very willing to work with us to make sure we had options. I think they may have even bought some food they don't normally keep on hand to make sure we had enough to eat. I will definitely be going to Eagle Cave again! I hear they have a haunted house in the cave in October and hope to be able to make it to that this fall.

Camped IN the cave during a scouting weekend. Great experience. Staff and owner Super friendly, helpful and very welcoming. I'm giving 4 stars because the exterior and buildings could use a good updating.

Despite being packed this place never missed a deadline and was always inviting and always had something to do. An arcade to boot. Worth plenty of trips and always something new to explore that you might have missed last time.
