We LOVED our stay at this pristine campground! Friendly staff and beautiful location. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be booking a week next year. Best place for River and Biking. Peaceful and quiet. Our friends enjoyed their cabin stay as well. Oh and the grass is beautiful. Can’t say enough good things. Only Con: Seasonal Sites and their Golf Carts. During the 70s night one man, clearly intoxicated, almost hit my child by backing into her while she rode her bike (on the very edge of the ride) so they could do their “parade.” It was very scary. Not first run in with irresponsible and dangerous golf cart use during that week stay. Consider banning use of alcohol and golf cart use. This should be no different than drinking and driving.

We are enjoying Eagle Cliff for our 5th or 6th time over the past 7 years. Beautiful family oriented campground. One of our favorite campgrounds of all we have visited. While we are not full timers, we are most timers. We have camped in 36 of the 48 contiguous states. Very well maintained park with exceptional customer service. We will be back again and again, God willing.

This was our first campground stay in our new camper. What a beautiful place to call home for a couple nights! The views are beautiful and the river is so close. Staff is friendly and everything was so clean! We will absolutely be back.

We are staying at the campground. It is our first time here but will definitely be back. This is the most beautiful and well maintained campground we have ever been too. They also have a beautiful litte motel right next to the office. We were able to view one of the rooms so others in the family can join us in future camping here. Staff are all amazing. Very friendly and constantly running around checking people in, leading them to their sites and maintaining the beautiful grounds and planters. The surrounding area is also beautiful.

First time camper here. It was recommended to us to camp here. 5* Wow! Was my friend ever right! The grounds are pristine!!!! The bathroom and shower facilities are very clean. The property is on the Root River. There is much to do in the area from kayaking, canoeing, and tubing to biking to activities in town. You can rent bikes to ride on the state trails. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were late arrivals. They even met us when we pulled in and guided us to our space. You can buy ice from them for your coolers. It was just very nice to have such a positive experience on our first time out. Thank you!!!!

If you want to experience very rude and unfair treatment where you will be mistreated and ripped off by the staff and ow era you must come to Eagle Cliff campground. Was double charged for the room without any options and negotiations and knees delivered to us after we already left the campground. Staff is very rude and unwilling to be reasonable, professional and understanding. Campground looks good but rules are ridiculous and staff and owners are very shady and make non sense decisions. Stay away if you want nice peaceful stay and don’t want to be ripped off.

We decided to come to the lanesboro area to celebrate the with my sister who was getting married the following weekend and I sure wished we would have picked a different place! At check in to our group site the apparent owner (Melanie) was terribly rude, condescending and literally the most unfriendly person. We had a fire later and the owners (on a golf cart) stopped by THREE times to tell us that “quiet time” was at 11-but literally just across the field where the seasonal campers are had a huge LOUD party well into the night. The next morning while spending money to take a quick 5 min shower(yes…they charge) I was talking to a couple of other campers who stated that this place has really gone downhill and how they would never return. Honestly-wish we would have picked the Red Barn resort or really any other place. The owners ruined the entire weekend for us…we were even scared to go into the office to purchase firewood NO STARS

Literally the WORST camping experience I’ve ever experienced-not so much in the campground itself (I highly recommend the area as it’s gorgeous with all the bluffs) but the staff and couple who runs this place are hands down some of the rudest/fowl mouthed people. If you’re looking for a nice, family friendly place to enjoy a campfire and relaxing-this is not the place to go. Looks are very deceiving. Many other options in the area-I highly recommend staying clear of here.

We stayed for the second time at Eagle Cliff Campground and both times experience was great. Very friendly staff and well thought, clean and organized campground. Camp sites are big and offer plenty of room and privacy and lazy river is great for both kids and adults to enjoy. Definitely a must visit place

So much fun! We tented in the C tenting area and the sites are super clean. They are a bit smooshed together, but it's a private campground and we still had good space all in all. Great activities, super awesome tubing down the river and the staff in the office were very welcoming and friendly. Particularly Rachel, she was our fave! Genuine, kind and caring. We were already talking and making plans to come back next year. Thanks for the fun weekend!
