The "Best" price so close to the park!! One of the best things about the east gate of Yellowstone are the campsites along Hwy 14/20 out of Cody. They are never very crowded in June and I have always found a place to stay. You can stay a day or two, close to the park while you wait for your reservations, then get up early and beat the crowd into the park. Eagle Creek and the other campsites above a certain mile marker is "Hard Side" camping only. This means no tents Camper shell or sleeping in your vehicles. There is good, tree cover, water, and clean restrooms. The campsites are well spaced and I never felt like i was to close to anyone. It rained all night but the run off was never an issue. Lots of animals, lots to love!!!

Hard-sided RVs only. No tents or tent-style folding RVs, but plenty of room and clean vault toilets.

Clean vault bathrooms & a water pump. You'll need some muscle to get your water, but it was a nice amenity to have. The campground was quite and is about 8 miles from the entrance to the Yellowstone park, so decent location. Make sure to get to the site early to get a spot! All sites are first come first served.

Nice quiet location next to the river. Other campers was very courteous and host was very nice.

If a spot is available, this is a great campground. Only 8mile from Yellowstone east entrance. Sites are heavily wooded and next to the Shoshone river. Horseback riding and zip line attraction very close. No hookups, cell signal, reservations or flush toilets. Fresh water available at pump wells and pit toilets. Must stay campground when in the area. Look for Shoshone national forest for more information.

Close to the East Gate, clean. We did day trips into Yellowstone. Not suitable for tents or pop-ups, (bears). Nice river sites.

Stayed here this past weekend and it’s a very beautiful area. Camp fees are currently $15 as of July 28, 2018. This is a hard sided camp site only that is first come first serve. When getting to the camp you’ll pull up to the sign, put your payment in the metal box then tag your site with the tag. I was able to show up Friday at 4pm and there were still plenty of open sites to chose from.
