It's a beautiful park in a remote destination. Since we were there mid-Sept, I have to think that was why there were very few campers. Very peaceful setting among tall pine trees. The road in is under construction (thank God) so just be patient. If you need to do laundry, be prepared to wash in cold water and of the 8 dryers, only 2 were working. I'll bet they will have new ones ready for the spring. Interior roads are paved with curbs and the sites are black top.

The center spots are way too close to each other, less than 2 feet between and not even close to level. When I say not close to level from one end to the other is probably a foot in height difference. The lady at the front counter who checks you in is very easily confused and really has no idea whats going on. She and the rest of staff were nice though. Dumpster was overfilling and place was pretty crowded. Their park map really needs to be revised to show the spots better with the side yard area or lack there of depending on the specific spot. The park map makes all the spots seem the same and they definitely aren't. This place needs to do a 2.0 version along with a fenced in dog area for all the guests and I think it would be great. They have the staff and location to be fantastic, they just need to do some renovations.

I wasn’t going to write a review because I didn’t want this place blown out. But I had to because it deserves 5 stars. The hospitality, the cleanliness, and location was superb! We will definitely be back! Thank you guys for making our weekend trip amazing!

We stayed here a few weeks back at the beginning of their season and had a great experience. Our 5-year-old son ended up leaving his teddy bear which he had since he was a baby, and they helped us get it back to him! Great place, and great people!

We were on our way north and stopped here for a night. Reviews say it recently reopened after refurbishment. If the current condition is AFTER refurbishment, I hate to think what it was like before. Got here and there was no one here, no campers or staff. The place looked abandoned. Sign on the 'office' said they had gone to town and to take any site and check in when they got back. Roads are asphalt but sites are dirt and unlevel. We could not find a site with working power or water. Guy came over after we'd been here 20 minutes and checked the power, went back to flip some breakers. Then came back. Finally got some power to work. Water never did work but fortunately our fresh tank was full. The guy tried to turn the water on to the park but seemed confused as to how to do it. He was in our site 3 times but never picked up the beer bottle that the last guest left there. The CG is to the right when you come in. To the left is a former part of the park that is flat and very well maintained. You can see their online map is a copy of the old map where they used whiteout to erase that area. But you can't go to that side of the property because the roads are blocked with giant 4ft boulders. Manager said that used to be part of the park, and that there was some ownership dispute. Also said the sewer line used to run under that property and as part of dispute the neighbor cut the sewer line. Which I'm not sure is legal. So, no laundry or bathrooms/showers. The toilets are stacked up in the dirt behind the former restaurant. The dump station says $10 and doesn't say closed but wonder what they do with sewage since the sewer line was cut. Their former store and restaurant look like they've been closed for decades but according to an online article they were open as of 2021. I know that the dropping lake level has caused several businesses here to close. Rec room, fitness room/game rooms are all CLOSED. The only thing we got for our $40 was a dirt space and electric. There is an adjacent gas station, but it is also closed. I should have asked for a discount but paid the $40 and considered it a donation, I felt bad for them. Seems as though just one person is trying to get the whole place going again. This place was nice once. Hopefully they can get it going again.
