Great place fire camping. Sadly, the owner's don't keep the grounds mowed like they should and the bathrooms aren't appealing, be sure to bring your own toilet paper.

Camped one night here in the riverfront primitive sites with our kids. The sites were clean and well spaced out and a short walk to the river. The sites had plenty of shade, mostly in the afternoon and early morning, which helped quite a bit with the heat on a summer night. Staff was the fantastic (as many comments have stated). They were great to work with. Just a few mosquitos but nothing crazy. The main thing to note is the trains pass through here and blow their horns. We got some around 9PM, 11PM, 3AM, and 7AM. Earplugs help a lot but it will wake you. Bring your own water too! Couldn't find a tap on property but didn't try too hard either.

So we wanted to float this last weekend with gorgeous weather, weekend AFTER labor day weekend. Young guys (with dogs) staff was very friendly & helpful on the front end of things. Office was closed & gate was closed, but they were nice enough to go ahead and let us float. The BUS driver was as friendly as crotch crabs - guess we were a bother "post season." He was a helluva bus driver, knew what he was doing, but seemed very irritated that he had to drive us anywhere since it was "just us." We rented kayaks and spent $207, 4 people floating. The young lady on the phone was nice, and the float itself was fantastic, nice boats. Seems the older people who work there (and I'm older myself) are now "off duty" and want everyone to know it - younger folks were great. We had planned to swim afterwards and even took things to do so, but the older lady that came to meet us, made us feel that it was time to go. Mentioned they sell " day passes" through Labor day, again kind of acting like shop was closed even though it wasn't. 🙄 We had hoped we'd found a new place as we float and swim often but we'll probably go with someone else next time. I'd give 2 stars overall, 3 because the float was awesome, -1 for Mr. Grouchy pants bus driver, 5 stars for the younger staff.

First the staff is a 5 star. Rooms N/A Over all the place needs some work. The public rest room was nasty and no T-paper. I'm glad my RV had its own facility. The parking the RV SITES are not well marked. The price is fair but not for the shape.

Tiffany in the office was AWESOME. Great sense of humor, relates with campers, even got us into a better site than what we originally had. Good and clean primitive sites with direct river access! Fire pits could use some TLC but take a small grill and you’re set!

Has a couple of good spots and the float is peaceful. The bathrooms are below average and are not regularly stocked with toilet paper, so bring your own! If you float the last weeks of the season, they act like it's a chore to work with you.

The only reason why I give it a four and not a five start is because my brother in law chose to set us up close to where we had some horrible echo of big semis coming by thus due to geography and nothing else. Having said that, we only encountered this issue because we overstayed and the only times we heard the semis was during Monday morning. We traveled here in a group of about 15 of us and we could not have chosen a better place to camp where the amenities and the communication could of not been better. The club house is fully stocked with anything anyone could need during their stay and although we pretty much come prepared but nice to see that this camp site keeps things pretty stocked. The showers were very clean and we were very pleased about this as we have encountered others where they are not well kept. There is a group of employees that walk around picking up trash which was very convenient since having 15 guests can get pretty messy. Thank you Eagles Nest team for keeping up with the needs of the guests and keeping a kind and helpful smile while doing it!

How do you double book and not accommodate accordingly? The lack of customer service here is very apparent, GO ELSEWHERE! Noel used to be a place of relaxation, a place of comfort.. now it's just kids with no clue how to run anything properly!

I used to love it. Been going here since I was 7. New ownership took over a few years back, I believe by Kozy Kamp. Previously family owned, so it gave an amazing home away from home vibe. They cared for their campers. Now the toilets leak, and/or are broken. Never clean. It’s a miracle if you find toilet paper. Horrible customer service. All ran by kids. Quiet hours are never respected and/ or reinforced anymore. All the rafts and canoes/kayaks are shared between their campgrounds. You don’t get a bag for trash and you’ll be lucky if you get and life jack and/or paddle. however, Campground is still lovely because of all the trees, but that’s the only good thing it has going for it now.
