If you want a fun camping experience, I'm warning you do NOT camp here! If you want a miserable experience, this is your place. The bathhouse is a joke, poor water pressure and lukewarm water, it was also dirty with spiderwebs all over. The sites are very small. Bugs, bugs and more bugs!!! Spiders, horseflies and the mosquitoes were all terrible, you couldn't enjoy being outside. The lake is okay, but hell, you're in Michigan there are at a lot of lakes at campgrounds and better ones. You can't even enjoy a pontoon ride because there wasn't even a canopy on the pontoon we rented. Don't even think about asking for a refund for the campsite or boat rental, you will NOT get it. For 1 you can't even find or get ahold of an owner. Even the pricey store wasn't open half the time. We had obnoxious drunk neighbors that kept us awake. The owners only care about getting your money, they do NOT care if you enjoy yourself or not. I would NEVER waste my hard earned money here again. The owners are money hungry.

The camp ground is nice, bathrooms needed a little t.l.c but we stayed at a site by the lake so they were close to us which is a plus. Fishing sucked, we didn't get anything the 4 days we were there. The little store was cute. There was ping pong and a pool table up by the store. The lake was clean, the docs were sketchy lol. Its a great camping experience all in all and we will be back ❤️ its worth it for family gatherings and enjoying nature.

Great spot for adults and kids. We had so much fun. Park, beach and courts were nice. Water was still. Price was on point for the area. New bathrooms were appreciated for us and our kids. We would definitely come back!

The campground I would give 5 stars; just not camp site 38. The bathrooms were clean, and the store was super cute! if you have a long trailer and want space to set up; do NOT book site 38; The site is long, narrow and on a slight hill/incline and looks to be an old drive/service drive? The bees were also in full force! The campground and staff were very nice and if we were too visit again we would just choose a different site!

Avid campers, and this wasn’t a great experience! They charged us extra because we have more than 2 kids($10 extra per night we camped). Charge you launch a boat, on top of paying to rent a dock-they also charged me more than what the website said the fees were. Showers were ice cold every night, and no communication on any type of activities they offer. My kids were also scolded multiple times for riding bikes “too fast” however they weren’t going any faster than the vehicles in the campground traveled and were being very cautious of other campers. Not a family friendly place.

Loved our spot. Seasonal neighbors were fabulous. And the maintenance man is wonderful. Only down side is there is nothing convenient to there however, with that said it us a very nice, quiet park.

It's a great place to go camping. Friendly staff, very peaceful. Kids have had a blast swimming and playing on the playground. We will definitely be coming back again.

Enjoyed a very relaxing weekend at East Lake Camping! Very nice clean campgrounds. Owner and their staff are terrific. They come across personable and welcoming! Large beautiful lake with a sandy beach and marked swim area made the trip great for our granddaughter. Bathrooms were very clean and newly remodeled. Well stocked camp store. For mid-July we dealt with zero mosquitos. My wife camped here 35+ years ago, her grandparents had a seasonal site for years. It was equal to or better than all her memories. Will absolutely be going back again and again!

Overly priced, TONS of Mosquitoes, small lots. July 2021 For approximately $45 per night, it was NOT worth the money. The nonseasonal lots are very small. The renovated bathroom has only 1 shower and it's already starting to turn brown on the bottom walls and corners. They must not check the ladies bathrooms often because 1 toilet was unusable for most of the day and 1 was locked. So only 1 toilet really out of 3. They have another bathroom down in a different section...VERY Rustic is saying it nicely. The lot sizes are terrible. My carpet that I put down in front of my door also touched the fire ring. I did notice the lots in the center circle (there are 8 only) had a little bit more room. The bugs, there are So many mosquitoes!! We camp 3 to 5 times a year and most campgroupds usually spray for mosquitoes and other bugs, this one does NOT! They are Horrible! We ended up spending so much time in our trailer to get some relief from all the mosquitoes. The beach area is nice though. But I noticed you had to pay extra for any of the kayaks or canoes or docking. We will not return. Not worth the money or the many mosquito bites.

Campground is overly infested with mosquitoes. Can’t even spend time out of our camper due to the mosquitoes. Lots of campers at the campground- nobody spending time outside. Bathrooms are rustic- to say the least. Small and dirty. Staff was nice. Mostly helpful. Office hours are very limited.
