Stayed at East River Lodge Campground & Trailer Park in April during the off-season and had a great experience. It’s run by an older couple — the gentleman was very nice and super helpful. Since it was a quieter time, we got an amazing spot right by the river with a beautiful view. The location is great too — just a short walk to a fish and chips place, a gas station, and a grocery store. It’s a peaceful, friendly place and we would definitely come back!

I live locally and after a weekend boondocking I went to site to inquire about using the dump stn. No one there on a long weekend which I thought was a bit odd. I called and left a msg, waited a while no response? Saw a camper in one of the overnight spots and asked where the dump stn was, he directed me so I went and used the facility. Next day I get a call from a lady & explained the scenario, she sId that will be $36, and that way too many people come, use the stn and leave. I asked if I was paying for all those people who don’t pay as I thought $36 was unreasonable. Two trips in one, first & last, the people who run this campground should be required to take a course in Customer Service

Nice place, been there for 3 years. Thinking of selling my 32 foot trailer. New stupid rule if you sell it it has to be move out off the park because it's an older model but looks as good as all the rest.new rule ,I guess if someone with a newer trailer should have to move there trailer also.

We rented the lodge for a baby shower. It has a kitchen lots of space for gas and a balcony overlooking the water the fees were reasonable also.

Would never go back here. Management needs to be removed for harassing campers. Poorly run campground. Stay somewhere else.
