Hugely disappointed. I have stayed here many times In late October. Showed up today and no one working in the office. I picked a site and put my money in the drop slot and set up on the site. No water; no cable, no code for the bathrooms. It would have been nice to have that posted on the door at the office. We are considering packing up and heading 3 hours back home and chalk it up to a bust. Don’t know if this is the new norm or just an anomaly. Was looking forward to watching the Michigan game around a campfire like I have done in the past and getting dinner in town. It’s a shame but could be worse.

Visited on a weekday in off season, so lots of parking and plenty of picnic tables to choose from. Lovely beach area, lots of shade, and even a little playground. Clean restrooms. Only negative note would be the massive amount of goose poop in the grassy area. A couple trees just starting to change into their fall colors, too.

Very nice playground. Beach sand bottom. Cool 2-person swings. Visited twice during our 2 day visit. Fun for kids of all ages.

Absolutely beautiful beach! I noticed some litter in the water and around the beach, but this is a popular destination. The water faucet for the sand rinse doesn't work well. The foot rinse just lightly drips when you push button and the top one sprays everywhere. The door to the showers section was password locked so we only had access to the small bathroom stalls for changing.
