This was our first time staying at Eastern Slope and we enjoyed every second. The place was rather empty due to it being the end of the season which was great. I feel like if it were high season though, the sites may be a little too close for our liking. The staff was GREAT and the beaches were beautiful. The bathrooms were immaculate and large. Overall, this is one of our favorites spots we have stayed this year and our dog agrees. We are already starting to plan our next stay here for 2026.

Recently had our first stay at this campground. What stood out immediately was the friendly staff, exceptionally clean surroundings, and ideal proximity to the Saco River. Facilities were impeccably clean and recently updated. Camp site was sizable and sand-padded which made it roomy and comfortable. And everything was close to the shops and attractions in town. We would absolutely return to this campground for another stay. Thanks for making our first one memorable.

One of the best campgrounds we’ve been to in a long time! So much to do for all of us (3yrs-35yrs and a pup). Shower/bathroom facilities are clean and nicely private. All the staff are super friendly. Well organized, well kept camp grounds! We can’t wait to go back!

This was our second year visiting! It’s a great campground located close to north Conway shopping center! Our site right on the field was great for the kids to run around and play! The kids enjoyed floating the river as well as the pool! Bathrooms were clean. Dog friendly. We will definitely be back next year!

Eastern Slope Campground has a few positives, starting with the people. The staff were kind, helpful, and clearly care about the campground. The facilities were clean, and the river access was a nice touch on a hot day. That said, if you're hoping for a peaceful tent camping experience, this may not be the right fit. The campground felt more like a busy roadside stop than a quiet retreat. Car traffic was especially noticeable at night, with headlights shining through the trees and engines running late. Campfires often burned past midnight, and there didn’t seem to be much enforcement of quiet hours. In a tent, the noise and light are hard to ignore. A camper might make it more manageable. The playground was minimal, with just a few swings and a plastic slide better suited for a backyard. The pool is very small, and the firewood for sale was overpriced and had mold on it. Overall, my kids enjoyed the visit, and that’s what matters most. Still, we’ve camped at well over 100 different locations, and this one is not in our top 10. I’m not comparing it to resort-style campgrounds either, just standard family-friendly spots. This one fell short.

We had a wonderful stay this past weekend. Our son and his 2 friends stayed in a cabin and loved it. Our campsite was great. Love the 2 beaches. Never got around to hiking as we were having so much fun on the river! Booked again for next year. My only mention is that you cannot expect anything from the camp store. Luckily, a grocery store less than 2 miles away.

We just returned from a three day family camping trip in tents. We were a group of 9 with 4 kids and some grandparents. We had the best time. The campground—sites, beaches, bathrooms-were all so clean and well kept. The quiet hours were respected and it was very peaceful. There were some great activities including an ice cream social and movie night. We took advantage of the canoes and the kids had a blast. We had such a great time we’re already planning a trip for next year. It exceeded my expectations! Thank you to all the employees who make this place great!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I needed a site with less sun and more shade and they switched our site without a problem. Campsites and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Campground was quiet and peaceful during quiet hours. Pets are allowed so that's a plus that I can bring my dog next time. Decent amount of activities. Nestled right at the Saco River. Would definitely recommend and return again.

Enjoyed camping here. They have large pull through sites with electric and water facility. Our site stated water front but it wasn’t. But still not disappointed, site is clean and clear without gravel. Bath house is well maintained.

Several years ago we had a poor experience at this campground. We finally decided to try it again to give them another chance. Well, after attempting to reserve a site for this season, we were told we are black listed due to being considered an "internet assassin". Apparently my previous poor review resulted in a lifetime ban. The owner clearly didn't want to try to prove they could do better. I checked and my previous Facebook review (that I left on their page) was deleted. It is a shame, I believe I am fair in my reviews but the owner doesn't seem to believe in any level of customer service. I would highly recommend looking farther down the highway for better options.

Just finishing our stay here. I will state now, that we didn't use the bathrooms as we were on a "full hookup" site. Our pull through site is very nice. Compact. But, we aren't on top of our neighbors. The staff is friendly and accommodating. And the campground is in a central location to the bevy of activities and sights to take in. Stuff for the kids to do. Their roads are a bit bumpy. But, that tends to keep the idiots from driving too fast. The camp store could do with a few more camping provisions.

This is by far our favorite campground. We brought our children here years ago and it was always a great time. We recently purchased a small couples trailer and started camping again. Our first trip was to Eastern Slopes and it was as good as ever. The staff even helped us with some trailer problems we were having. In the last 2 years we've visited quite a few different campgrounds but Eastern Slopes is by far the best. You can leave and go sight seeing nearby, then when you get back there is still so much to do at the campground. The river is the best part. We like to float from beach 1 to beach 2 over and over and since your staying at the campground you don't need to think about driving anywhere. It's a blast!

Hi Everyone! I stayed at this campground from 8/9/21 to 8/13/21. I am giving the campground 3 stars because of some issues. One, the bathrooms were absolutely dirty, this is bathroom number 3. Bugs and cobwebs in the toilet and shower areas. For a day the women's side had NO toilet paper so this is how we know it was definitely not cleaned daily. Plus, with the Delta variant running rampant the bathrooms should have been cleaned a lot. In the showers the drain was loose in both showers on the men's side and the floors were a mix of cement and broken/ missing tile covered with a rubber mat, maintenance issue. The lights in the toilets went off in the daytime in both men's and women's sides. The store looked okay but their rec room needs some TLC. The video games are from the 1990's and most are missing parts or don't work fully or just don't work. The laundry is located here also and found out the dryers don't work. They run but don't dry and we check to make sure the lint screen was clean. Means there is probably some blockage in the vent pipe. Washer did work correctly. The single bathroom there was dirty and smelled like sewer. The main road has many potholes and was very bumpy. We had neighbors who drank way to much and were loud past quiet time. We had one night of quiet at 10pm because it started to rain, TY rain! People were riding their bikes way past dark and one almost got hit by a car as he didn't have any lights on his bike. We have two kids who went to bed way before 10pm. (Can't blame the campground on the noise but they are suppose to have on site security, who should tell kids to stop riding their bikes after dark. So, why can they not drive around after 10pm to make sure everyone is following the rules?) Now the good. The river was nice. They beach was kept clean. The campsites was clean when we got there. The playground was good and seemed like nothing was broken, just could use a paint job. Overall the campground its self was in good condition other than the main road.

First time camping at Eastern slopes campground. I definitely recommend this campground. People are very friendly and the owners are very accommodating. Great customer service. Already booked again for our stay in July Campground is clean , nice and quiet after 10, plenty for the kids and adults to do. Both river beaches are amazing, pool too. Relaxing.
