This campground is exceptionally nice. It seems to have been recently upgraded. It is managed by the USFS but, unlike most of their CGs it has electric power at every site. And, several standpipes for water. It's clean & well-maintained even during the current government shutdown. It's just off the highway, which makes it convenient as an overnight spot. Current fee is $20USD/night at a self-pay station, which accepts debt/credit cards or, cash/check. But, best of all are the views of the surrounding landscape.

We stopped in here on our way to Colorado and we were not disappointed, this is a great camp site for tents or small campers! Electrical outlets, fire pit, picnic table and grill at almost every site, paved walkway to the echo amphitheater. Plenty of space apart so there’s ample privacy for a camp area of its size and the view of the amphitheater cavern is pretty awesome especially early in the morning! Would highly recommend if you’re passing through, we didn’t hang around long so not sure of other stuff is in the area but there are towns within 20minutes either direction! Not sure if the water is potable, tasted very irony so you might make sure you bring a filter system or drinking water if you plan to stay for long. We actually ended up staying here a second night on our way back from Colorado because this place is so nice and the water was off at that time so hopefully they get that fixed but a great camp site either way

We came by here two days ago just to check out the Echo Amphitheater and returned yesterday to the campground, which seemed like a very nice one. Apparently it's been recently redone and barely looks like it's been used. Very nice tucked in sites, all very level with nice clean concrete tables, electricity and potable water available at the entryway. None of the sites seem to have dirt ten sites though. Bathrooms are a bit of a hike from the campground but are in immaculate, clean condition. The amount of infrastructure work that went into manage drainage and to build these campsites seems quite incredible. As others have noted, slight road noise but nothing that is terrible. And you're spectacularly at the base of some great sandstone cliffs. The night we stayed only two other campers. Also heard and saw at least 10 to 12 different bird species we did not expect to find here. Interpretive signs are very informative, well written and appropriately emphasize indigenous use and appreciation of the land we are on.

Beautiful camp site. It is right off the highway but we could barely hear the traffic. The rock formations are awesome and the camp spots are well spaced.

Beautiful rock formations. Restrooms have hot and cold running water in sinks. Full price to camp was $20; half that with America the Beautiful pass. The days were in the high 80s-low 90s.

This is was a great stopover for us on our last Colorado trip. The scenery in this area is spectacular! Next time we visit, we plan on spending a bit more time in the area.

Great place to stop and take pictures! There is a mostly paved trail that leads right to the base of the canyon. It is a decent hiking distance from the parking lot but it is definitely worth it! There is also a decent public restroom right next to the parking lot.

Beautiful place. My family and I always stop at this place and take a break, relax and take lots of pictures with the whole family. It has a nice pathway to the top, bathrooms and even picnic tables. This place is well kept and it's a gorgeous sight seeing monument of nature. Cant wait to comeback!!
