Beautiful spot. We put our kayak in at the boat dock and the water was so clean. We will definitely be back!!

Always an amazing time camping at Edgar Evins! It rained cats and dogs the first night, but that just added to the adventure. No luck catching trout in the river, but still had a blast.

Very nice elevated platform style campsites , decent boathouses and restrooms . Multiple boat ramps and area to access the water . Stopped in for the afternoon on our way west, will return for a future extended stay in the fall .

Trails are kinda rough in the mud so make sure it's dry before going, views are immaculate though. Workers are kind but had little information aside what's available in pamphlets. A local actually walked with us a moment and shared some cool geological facts with us. So much wildlife!

Hiked Millennial Trail. AllTrails rates as hard. While not as difficult as some "hard" trails we have done, I would agree it is challenging. The trail begins with rock and a substantial decline. Moves to root systems before becoming mostly dirt. Some good runs of increasing elevation. Definitely not for anyone looking for scenery. Pretty thick trees. Overgrown for most of the trail, but wouldn't actually expect anything different. Trail marked very well. Some low spots are going to be soggy of recent rains.
